Dustin Hoffman Is Almost 90 His Life Was Tragic

They left out one of his greatest performances, or maybe they hadn't done it yet. The film was called "PAPILON" (Sp?) with Steve McQueen. A Brilliant movie!!

He doesn't look a day over 97. Word has it that he only remembers 3 movies. He doesn't have a clue about the names of the rest, or even the characters. Aging is a WONDERFUL thing, isn't it? I'll put a gun to my head at 80. Life is no longer worth living for me. I'm sure many others still LOVE life well into their 90's because they have extended families etc. who accept taking care of them even with DEMENTIA, CANCER, HEART PROBLEMS, NO HEARING, LOSS OF MEMORY, INABILITY TO DRIVE, WHEEL CHAIR BOUND, SLURRED SPEECH, DIFFICULTY GOING TO THE TOILET OR BATHING WITHOUT HELP, POOR EYESIGHT, AND EVEN FORGETTING WHAT PLANET YOUR ON !! It's sort of similar in some ways to the beginning of life right after we come out of the womb. Only people care about us then. (There's a grain of truth to some of what you read... most of it is just folly. That's just me. Please don't take it personally. I'm sorry if it was a bit too strong. I have compassion for those who battle any of the above.) My favorite actors are Dustin Hoffman, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, Paul Newman, Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart, Woody Allen, William Reaves (Wait a minute, how did I get in there???) Warren Beatty, Steve McQueen, and Gene Hackman.

He's 87. Using the term 'tragic' is clickbait. Yes. He's had cancer, but most of his life I don't think you could in anyway say has been 'tragic'.

I have seen this foolish header on other video bios, labeling the lives of other actors as tragic and then diaplaying no tragedy, instead lauding the individual for the full length of the video. I do not care much for the editing where the narrative does nothing to support the scends being displayed. Some long relationships would be described while the video playing shows only scenes from other movies. It is very disconcerting for the narrative to be out of synch with the scenes on view. Is this a case of self-sabotage?
