I think we all do. I ride alone so anyone’s welcome. Don’t always mind it. But some days I do since I used to have a lot of friends to ride with. Until life changed.
@juanaq Жыл бұрын
i just wonder the amount of patience someone has to have to endure riding with a youtuber. i mean, you have to stop every 100m to get a cool shot, go back in your way to re do an interesting part of the path, wait for him when he stop at every nice view, listen to the guy speaking alone to his camera, try to produce a funny answer to the youtuber questions, etcetc. and i imagine that the amount of shots and interactions we see is just a fraction of the total footage recorded. so kudos to Ron, for making Dustin's work more beautiful...er.

Fjallraven has great products. Careful with their wool. I washed mine on cold and it shrunk to a kids size. Although my sister was not complaining and ran off with her free gift 😂. I will add that Fjallraven service was willing to replace it. But having owned a lot of wool I have never seen go down several sizes after a cleaning.
@EverythingsBeenDone Жыл бұрын
Great insight. Ive only had their pants(which I love) I honestly didn't know they had much wool product...this might be why

Thank you for sharing your amazing landscape. I've been curious about the fjallraven-specialized rain poncho for a while and have been looking for meaningful reviews or just someone else that has used it in anger. It's a fairly expensive piece so I'm hesitant to put the cash down just yet. On paper it looks to be what I need to keep riding in the more interesting (and wet) parts of the UK over the winter.
@EverythingsBeenDone Жыл бұрын
Love this question!! I used a poncho several years ago thought it would be the best thing ever. Got a speedy cycling rain poncho. Used it twice. They are really bad with wind. And when we ride we create wind. Unless you slow rolling on a clam drizzle day. They are not worth the effort. Rain jacket and pull over rain pants(for commuting) are def the way to go. IMHO Hope this helps.

i got the shorts the other month and they have quickly become my favorite article of clothing ever. it's like they read my mind when they designed them. the only thing i miss is a hip pocket for a quick place to put gloves, but the cargo pockets totally make up for it. i have two friends who have the onesie, i haven't seen it in action yet, though.

Hey Dustin, I've absolutely loved your videos for a while now, keep at it! 10:00 as a professional Finnish person, a neighbor to Swedes and a bit of a nitpicker, Fjällräven is pronounced with the letter E replacing the Ä letters. So, Fyell-rehven, or [ˈfjɛ̂lːˌrɛːvɛn] if you're into IPA. I got the hybrid fannypack-rucksack and it's great for both cycling and music festivals. Maybe a bit heavy for just a fannypack, but roomy, and the backpack portion is useful for picking up a bit of groceries on the evening commute or at the end of a ride.

Super late to the party but I was wondering if anyone has info on the backpack that Dustin is wearing on the video? I really liked the fjallraven jacket but it’s way over my budget. as a self-professed “hot person” I envy those who run cold. I can’t ride in any fun fashionable cycling “hybrid” garments without absolutely sweating through them. I had an era of wearing grav casual button ups and such, but I’ve recently converted to dedicated lycra and performance road cycling stuff. It still gets sweat through but it’s supposed to, and feels comfortable when I do.
