@@anantjha664 Army personnel who don't posses bullet proof jackets are the reserved soldiers, i am a defence forces enthusiast, the active military personnel who are supposed to engage on the front line as aggressors all do posses the necessary equipment, other too will get it but everything takes time, you cannnot just do nothing for 60 years and then want everything to happen in just 7 years, try to understand how everything works.

@@Gre3k ok lets not start a war here agreed sir but you are wrong that we didn't do anything in 60 years indian army was on 4th position in the strongest armies in the world even before 2014 and it is still on forth position .The main battle rifle INSAS came in 1998 and still is the main rifle a big amount of bullet proof jackets came in around 2008-2009 which were not really modern looking. And many things came in the 60 years in all the government's .

I'm not gona comment anything against... But our army is awesome... But there needs to improvement ASAP 1) IA uniform : I don't understand why the IA still Uses Outdated Camo Uniform. They are neither water or Tear proof, Indian Army should make sure that a new camo uniform should be designed with the same type as the US army's India should have 3 types of Uniform for Different Terrains A) Improved Hot Weather Combat Uniform for Standard Infantry Uniform B) Improved Hot Weather Combat Uniform Mountain Camo - For Mountain Strike Force C) Improved Hot Weather Combat Uniform Green Camo - For Jungle Warfare These Uniform specialties should be ( Light Weight, Water Proof, Able to withstand High and Hot weather, and tear Proof) 2) Helmet: I don't understand why the army still uses the MKU Standard Ballistic helmet which is not so effective and only can Withstand 2 to 3 5.5mm shots and just 1 7.14mm shots, India army to should upgrade it with Integrated Head Protection System helmets, which is 1.5 times lighter and can Withstand multiple Headshots with different types of caliber in short range like 5 meter

Look in case of uniform I agree with you a cammo uniform (not tucked in) required with light weight boots or if you are not able to standardize these uniform pls provide these to those who patrol at border or to those participating joint exercise like our garud and para sf have top notch fighting gears and equipments also I believe replacing anti ballistic helmets at a large is still not possible due to budget crunch but I appreciate government effort and army will that they're providing army with Anti ballistic helmets, new guns like AK 203 and sig716 and modern gears like helmet mounted camera and tetra copters as it's better that previous gears like patka(helmets in j&k) also increase the quantity of these hitech gadgets.

I think Indian Forces's esp.Army's contribution in the UN Missions has not been discussed and told enough to our masses. I was listening to Lt. Gen. Shekatkar on Right Stand with Anand where he mentioned about what role US forces played in UN mission in Somalia. I looked it up and to my astonishment got to know the immense professionalism and humlility of our Army in successfully stabilizing the area allotted to them and actually building a peaceful and sustainable environment thriving with life in a war zone. All the other forces utterly failed in their areas. A canadian General of mission said Indian soldiers are probably the best in the world right now.. And that was in 93-94. I request all to go through the articles on how Indian forces went about their task. It will benefit many aspirants on how to go about a team task. Jai Hind.

The Indian armed forces have moved from a josh-and-individual-bravery-centric doctrine to create highly-mobile, excellently-equipped warfighters. Now, the equipment they have act as a force-multiplier PER warfighter!! Now, the buddy system and patrol-centric sweepers take a higher precedence. This is SO, SO nice to see. Well done. Well done, indeed!! Can't wait to see more and more!!!! BTW - I wrote this comment without seeing the whole clip and it's very validating to see the presenters using the same worlds!!!!!!!
