I like how at first frisk and chara start disassociating for they fully sever their connection. really puts in perspective how much we (the player/frisk) wants to see more of what we've created while chara never wanted any of this in the first place also I love how liminal 5 truly shows how there's nearly nobody in the underground anymore. liminal 1-5 really shows how both you and sans literally kills monsterkind, and with that leaving liminal 5 only with the sound of machinery sustaining the core or at least its what I think is going on

Chara never wanted for all of this to happen in first place, since as observer - they rather had no choice but see how you are going to play the game though. They thought of genocide as "end of it all", resulting in you specifically stopping playing the game completely by ERASING the world completely (metaphorically, deleting the game itself) But when they saw that you are not going to stop anytime soon..they just decided to serve connection with you and leave you alone in the dark, when the time comes to erase the world once again.

Seems like sans got a good bit ahead. Frisk at the end is LV 14 which means they have 5K exp. Frisk usually ends up LV 19 with 50K. So sans seems to have ended up at LV 18 with 45K.

From what I think. In the godsmack snowdin encounter sans only had as much as us. In terms of LV. So overall for what I think won. Is thought of. I think sans mostly won because of the godsmack encounter and the god am encounter. And chara completely left frisk/player so. Frisk probably lost because their determination wore down.

You can see with snowdrakes mom, that you do actually do damage to the amalgamates. They just instantly shrug it off and heal since you can only normally access true lab at LV1. If you hack into true lab at a higher level though, you can actually kill snowdrakes mom, showing how they aren’t invincible.

Probably because his battle being UWA SO INTENSE is fully useless because underground is already almost fully drained out of monsters and all the souls are destroyed, Chara left the player in true lab and now there is no escape into other safe files not into other resets. You are ALONE.

@@luigi9956 i read up on the lore, and you fight in the extractor room, and the amalgamates are blocking hits for Alphys, but sans arrives around 18-22 turns in and tries to use the extractor to kill/harm you, but accidentally hits all of the amalgamates, which without DT holding them together, they all just melt.

Actually the way I interpreted sans's death in the original, was that the entire fight sans was breaking the rules, like having the first turn, dodging attacks, betrayal killing, basically all stuff that the player has access to but enemies shouldn't. I never thought that was chara taking control to deal the final hit, but probably more like just us as a player breaking the rules to have two turns in a row, since sans had been doing stuff like that the entire fight. maybe I'm overlooking it.

@@joemama-alt the thing is, the player doesn't use an input for the final hit, it goes off on it's own and is always a slash (either stick or real knife but probably the latter) and is facing the wrong way you could argue that the soul is still on the fight button while sans dodges but what's with the weapon change and the direction of the slash differing

@@trulyplasmatic i mean maybe, although the weapon change could just be an oversight since at that point, the game kind of assumes that you'd have the real knife when you get to that part. since it gives it to you right before the fight. and wouldn't it make a bit more sense to be frisk dealing the final hit rather than chara? i doubt they are completely innocent in genocide anyway. take kris from deltarune as an example, they clearly have objections to the soul and rip it out, but frisk is completely neutral to it the entire game. sans even mentions that frisk looks frustrated about losing when you die to him, and flowey says "stop doing that creepy face" right before you kill him
