Her private life is hers to keep. The media just don’t want to leave her alone!!! She is a great singer and a beautiful person inside and out. Love you Dust!!! The world miss you!!❤️❤️❤️!!!!

What Dusty did behind closed doors was/still is her own private business. Considering that fact that she's deceased, it's wrong to disrespect her. Dusty Springfield had a magnificent voice, had a good sense of humor, and very pretty. These are her attributes of which she ought to be remembered. She was 'the package!' *~Peace~*

Dusty said herself 'I hate people who try to categorise me' and it's sad that people in these comments are doing exactly that, how hurtful this must be if Dusty was reading these comments. R.I.P Mary O'Brien

I just thought of her as an elegant and powerful singer, like an English version of Dionne Warwicke. Her appearance was not that unlike many female singers of her era. And her sexuality only burdened her personally and threatened her career because her main success was in the '60s, a time in which the squares and morality police pushed back against the peacenik stoners. By the late '70s it would not have been so big a deal. I am not a drinker anymore but I always want to have a cocktail or glass of champagne when I hear "The Look of Love" but my fave is the Burt Bacharach magic of "Wishin' and Hopin'".

A tortured genius like Dusty may appeal the most to gay fans, but anyone who doesn't appreciate her just a little bit would have to be tone deaf. She was a great singer, a great beauty, and I'll never forget her. Her songs were part of the background of my girlhood.

That was a time and place when sexuality was a covert conversation. In a heavy Catholic situation, sexuality is a bad thing, and "naughty". Thus, in our society, if you aren't with a manm, then you must be with a woman. So unfair and incorrect. Dusty was a great person and singer, and God bless her resting soul.

I think its cool that she was bisexual I can relate to her more now. Most artists are bisexual so that they see beauty in everything around them. I think she had enormous talent, I didn't realise until today just how many songs I loved from listening to them on here. So so impressive, I think probably the best female voice Ive ever heard. So much respect for her.

Sad when anyone has to struggle with worrying about what people think, Dusty in a time when being brave causes her a silent radio ban in the US, should have never happened but it did...right in the middle of a hit "A Brand New Me" the hits stopped, watched it happen and was disgusted by it...not until Pet Shop Boys did the great singer get airplay on US radio, one of the greatest ever Dusty was a rare talent who goes on and appreciated more than ever...RIP Special Lady
