Every Day I Have to Cry", also known as "Every Day I Have to Cry Some", is a song written by Arthur Alexander and first recorded by Steve Alaimo in 1962. Although the song has been recorded by many musicians over the years, Alexander did not record his own version until 1975.🎸🥁🎺🎶

this is just so sixties..love dustys look and the way she ends up amongst the audience - ringo has no sense of rhythmn for a drummer though !
@cooldaddy28775 жыл бұрын
he never did. He was hand-picked for the Beatles simply because he had 'the look' and poor Pete Best (a good drummer) was kicked out because he wouldnt get rid of his quiff. Early Beatles hits used session drummers because Ringo was useless.
@LightningDogg4 жыл бұрын
@@cooldaddy2877 That's not quite correct. George Martin decided after the first recordings by the Beatles that they needed a session drummer to replace Best in the studio because he wasn't right for their sound, a common practice. While Best was a fan favorite at live shows, he was a loner and didn't hang out with the other 3, and therefore alienated George & Paul. They did want Ringo because of his look AND his experience and the fact that he had filled in for Best with the Beatles several times. He was also in a group called Rory Storm and the Hurricanes, that was more, or at least as popular in Liverpool & Germany as the Beatles . In the transition between Best & Starr, Tony White had been hired to do the 3rd session's work and Ringo played some tambourine. There are numerous Beatles biographers and music critics that deemed Best's drumming to be inadequate. And Martin was unfamiliar with Ringo but surprised that his studio work was so good. Tony White's recordings were later re-done and released with Ringo.
@cooldaddy28774 жыл бұрын
@@LightningDogg Paul McCartney has stated in the past (can't find the comment) that Best was a decent drummer and Ringo wasnt. He also stated that Best didnt have the look they were going for and refused to 'de-quiff'.
