In the options of Inscryption you can hit a button at the bottom that says “reset save data” it takes you back to the beginning of the game (after you click “yes I’m sure” a million times).

Dude. I thank you so so much. I believe I messed up my character saves with mods on MHW (Monster Hunter World) and I uninstalled all the mods without making my characters not have any mods on them. That broke the game. I launched the game after and boom, black screen of death. And I tried to uninstall and re-install and all that and it still didn't work. So I'm desperate. I look on reddit, steam guides and everything. Nothing helps. So I decided to search for how to completely delete a save(s) and found your video. This right here, was the solution I was looking for. Thanks, there was an achievement on Clustertruck that seemingly required a reset, but the game doesn't give you a great way of doing it, so the last bit really helped me. Make sure you delete any json files too Remember you can also make a backup of your game files if you're like me and are replaying a game.

I wanted to start over completely in Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection, but because nobody other than me really still plays this game, there was absolutely NO info anywhere on the net. There is a launch option command to delete everything on the online saved games. Resets your steam achievements as well. I have no idea if it deletes game skins though so be careful.

Evergarden doesn't have the Saved folder (of any sort that I could find). BUT the second method, finding the game number and deleting the data worked. Thank you!

I wanted to do this for Halo: Infinite. When it firsst came out I was trying to maximize my fps and messed around with some game files from KZbin tutorials. I feel like I want to just delete everything (I know that my armor, rank, etc will be saved on 343 servers or whatever), I just want to have a stock set of files that are completely, well, stock and then optimize performance with today's KZbin tutorials.

The number corresponding to the game doesn't have to be checked via a website, just hover over a steam game with your cursor on your desktop and it will show you the game ID

I managed to softlock a game because I accidentally mapped a button to the escape key, so I then had two buttons opening the menu simultaneously opening and closing it, making the main aspect of the game impossible to access. if you do this for hitman 2 be aware it will first say a few times it cant connect keep trying and then it will then the save files show as corrupted but will ask if you wish to delete them so say yes then bam lovely clear slots. im not sure if another game auto connects me to the cloud again that it will redownload my old saves for hitman 2 again though.

With the first method I couldn't find any save files, second method and the installed game's number wasn't in both my HDD and SSD. Trying to reset Battlefield 1 because the screen is too zoomed in, and I can't reset it in-game because the setting is outside of the screen. @@yhanhugo3182 Yeah, when opening BF5 or 4 you go in some sort of BF menu thing, and not in the game. It's kinda hard to explain, but from there I can see all my BF games I own. From there I could change the settings for my BF1. I think that that's how I did it, not sure though...

hey, so I managed to delete the save file on this computer with this method, but when I enable the steam cloud thing, the game goes back to the save that is saved in the steam cloud, I want to remove that steam cloud save file and make my new playthrough be the one saved on the steam cloud, do you have any idea how to do that? I Played unturned and i changed the settings so that every thing on my screen got really big and I could not change it back so I hope this helps
