Lucky you :) Some modding apps: xEdit, Dyndolod and others, as well as the Tale of Two Wastelands don't work nice, or at all, if installed there. Windows UAC blocks them or interferes with what they do. If you don't have problems... cool. I just started modding (been a hell of a journey to figure out how to actually do it properly and now need to start over) and have been trying to download skyrim seperately so i can mod it properly but i kept getting the issue from steam "Selected drive already has a Library folder" and wouldnt create a new download folder instead of program files. I only have 1 drive as im using a strong gaming laptop. You have been the ONLY person that actually gave me the solution to fixing my problem with my needs and i have been looking for hours. With newest steam ui changes the I’ve gotten stuck on the add drive option, upon clicking the add drive option the “add a new steam library folder“ prompt is no where to be found. Any possible fixes for this?

SAME DRIVE update. BTW... Amazing video. Clear and to the point. There's a slight change now. Steam's interface does not show you the download location under Settings/Download. But, when you click to download, it gives your the option to choose which drive location if you have more than one, either on another drive, or on the same drive. Cheers.

Thanks I was moding in steam file's x86 and my game stopped launching and I saw so many videos say to move it to another drive but I didn't have another drive and I finally found a video that showed me how to move it within the same drive you just earned a subscriber

I got myself a good M2 drive and installed steam on it, which put it in Program Files without a way to change locations, then I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out how to move games out of the program files directory without having to put them on a different, much slower, hard drive.

So, when I go into storage manager to make a new drive for steam, it only lists the local drive. When I go into “let me choose another location”, it only shows OS(C:). How do I fix this?

I didn't know what to say was afraid I would say something stupid. But I will say, I'm glad that you took the time off you well deserve to take care of yourself and the things that followed.
