I have one of these! Though instead of the arrows for a boost, I was told it was treble booster. IT sounds deadly, one of the best one-knob fuzzface pedals I have. Definitely the sludgiest anyway. It beats out my Fuzzlord voidmster (which is still a fucknig rad fuzz, but is more articulate than the SmokeDoper), and it beats out my Frost Giant Four Horsemen MAssif (another amazing one knob fuzz). This guy, Dut Beardy, makes fantastic high quality pedals for a stellar price.

Without the boost, it has kind of a desert stoner metal vibe to me. I think it would be great for that style. With the boost and the dark setting, definitely some good sludge tones.
