I'm 70, grew up in the SFV, CA. I still play and listen to tons of music from various genres. With all due respect to your post, I don't think Fuzz pedals never left. Yeah I play guitar, bass etc, but using Fuzz on synths is unworldy. Meaning fuzz isn't just for string electrics. Thats why I say it never went away.
@matzer88465 ай бұрын
@@recycology5468 Thanks a lot for your answer/post ... You got me. I wasn't into synths until ~2015. They were just too expensive 4me in the old days (i'm 68 now) and i never go me hands on one and none of the band i met had a Fuzz combined with a synth -> my "blind spot" Anyway ... now i got some good synth plugins and a couple of entry level hardware synths and i love to use my guitar FX with them ... thus i am catching up

In defence of his very expensive pedal, there is a difference between just the pedal in the room and the pedal after you've tweaked the amp around a bit and then played it in a band with other musicians. The Behringer sounds great on it's own and is a clone of the pedal that Electric Wizard uses so probably sounds great in a band setup too, but if Oz is loving his fuzz war then great. He might buy the Tone City and the Behringer and take them to practice and find they just don't work as well. There's always trial and error in these things.

@@EricFaries That's just patently false. There are tons of original circuits out there. Behringer doesn't make a single one that isn't a clone/ripoff. The Fz1 is technically an original circuit as it incorporated a buffer and used a different tonestack than the ShinEi it's baased off of. But it's definitely not a straight up ripoff. It would be more like a modified Shin Ei.
