Ed O’Neil has some of the funniest facial expression. Especially in Married with Children. We used to quote his lines at school the day after each episode aired.

This is a great movie! No idea why no one else reacts to it. This was filmed during Married... There was actually an episode that the Bundys were at a video store and the poster for Dutch was up, so they just put a sticker on Ed's face.

In another episode of Married…With Children,they were flying somewhere. The pilot comes on and complains and asks a passenger(Al) to put his shoes back on because of the stench. Al says “Come on, they show us the movie “Dutch” and say that i stink?” 😂 i remember the store scene, Peg looks at “Dutch” since it says “free video” and scoffs at it 😂 they roast that movie 😂

"Nothing burps better than bacon. Your water looked tasty." Fun Fact: Ed O'Neill and Ethan Embry later worked together in Dragnet (2003). They played police partners. Dutch Kai Fact: Doyle uses martial arts on Dutch in the movie, although in real life at the time of filming, Ed O'Neill had been training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. O'Neill received his black belt from the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in 2007. Location Location Fact: The large double doors out of which Dutch bursts are supposed to be the doors of Doyle's dormitory. In reality, these doors are the main entrance to Hermann Hall, the administration building at Berry College, where the school scenes were filmed. The bridge that Dutch crosses is in Chattanooga, Tennessee. At the time of the movie, the road went nowhere. It ended a mile or so from the river.

Another great reaction to a movie I tend to forget about as it was not a movie a lot of people mention in their later years. I do think of it, though, every time I see Ed in anything because it was a movie I watched constantly from a VHS recording I did. When you mentioned the "He hasn't called him Doyle since..." line, I thought back and he did use it when he thought Doyle was in the car when it got smashed by the truck. Only in serious parts did he use Doyle, and not any of the most hillarious "D" names he could think of. The ring thing Dutch does always reminds me of when my dad used to do the same thing with his class ring to scare us if we were bothering him too much, in a joking manner, that is. Another movie to recommend, with ties to Ed is The Adventures of Ford Fairlane where he is in a small but memorable role. "BOOTY TIME." Can't wait for the next one and I hope your trip to the US was good.
@JayBondReacts2 жыл бұрын
Good call, you're right. In all the serious moments he called him the right name. Nice. I genuinely had to Google if Doyle was some how another name for Dave because I was confused, only to realize, nah he was just goofing around. I'll look into that other movie, thanks! The trip to the US was good. I'll probably make a post tomorrow sharing info because some screen shots of the movie were released today. Freddy Krueger lives on!

Awesome! Sad you didn't have a Blockbuster but the nostalgia for all video stores back then hits hard. Wow, thank you! A handful of these are on my list, but I'll go through these and see what else I can add. Appreciate it. Yeah, reactions on KZbin are weird. Many people do the same movies because those are the ones that get all the views. I think I have a good balance of less popular movies and some popular ones. I'm growing slower because of it, but I enjoy it more than watching the same thing everyone else does.

@@JayBondReacts I also enjoy seeing reactions to films previously ignored by the "reaction" community, and I'll go so far as to endorse, from the above list, the suggestion of *About a Boy* (2002), which has some thematic similarities to *Dutch.*
@mymyersfamily Жыл бұрын
@@JayBondReacts The odd thing about that is, if you react to a movie because you see that other reactors are getting lots of views when THEY react to that movie, that logic is sound only for choosing between movies for which there are already reaction videos. However, to the extent a movie has no reaction videos at all, you have no idea whether, if there was a reaction video, it would garner a ton of views or not so many. Thus looking at how popular other reaction videos are in picking what movies you will react to inherently leaves off ANY movies that have zero reaction even if they may very well wind up being hugely popular. Note, I do appreciate that you are one of the reactors that does throw in movies now and then that are more obscure. The thing is, I'm not even talking about obscure movies here. There are some major blockbusters that have zero reactions. As a person who subscribes to over a dozen reactors and watches reaction videos daily, I can tell you on behalf of people like me, we get really bored of seeing reactions to the same movie over and over. I mean, I'm not about to watch 12 reactions to John Wick. I've had my fill after 3-4. I'm watching fewer reaction videos now because most of this problem. I tend to search for reaction videos to movies that have not been reacted to yet. Sadly, they are very hard to find. I expect there are thousands of others like me doing the same thing. Thus, I think if you react to more "zero reaction" movies, all those people like me who seek a novel reaction experience will find your channel. I mean, sure, there are "must react" movies everyone should do like Jaws, Airplane, Star Wars, etc., but there are a lot of mediocre movies that everyone reacts to and they just don't deserve that many reactions, particularly not compared to much better movies that have no reactions. Here's my running list of movies that have no reactions, and this includes movies with huge stars, huge budgets, box office success, academy awards, etc., it seems rather arbitrary they have not been reacted to by anyone. And since reactors tend to see what reaction videos by others go the most views when deciding what to watch, these movies keep getting passed over: Next (Nicolas Cage sci-fi) Limitless (Bradley Cooper sci-fi) Push (Chris Evans / Dakota Fanning sci-fi) Crank (Jason Statham action) About a Boy (brilliant Hugh Grant comedy) Cider House Rules (Oscar-winning and awesome period drama with Tobey McGuire, Michael Caine, & Charlize Theron) Casualties of War (Michael J. Fox, underrated Vietnam war movie) Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead (Andy Garcia & all star cast, crime drama) Sense & Sensibility (Hugh Grant / Emma Thompson / Kate Winslet romance period piece) The Legend of 1900 (Tim Roth, sweeping period piece / fable) Human Nature (surreal Charlie Kaufman comedic drama starring Tim Robbins, Patricia Arquette) Real Men (James Belushi, John Ritter comedy thriller) Year One (Jack Black, Michael Cera comedy) Go (brilliant slice of life comedy) I Heart Huckabees (Mark Walberg, Dustin Hoffman, surreal comedy) Sweet and Lowdown (Sean Penn stars in Woody Allen comedy/mockumentary about depression-era jazz guitarist) The Legend of Bagger Vance (Matt Damon / Will Smith / Charlize Theron underrated golf fable / period piece) Diggstown (James Woods boxing thriller) A River Runs Through It (Brad Pitt drama/period piece) Four Rooms (Quentin Tarantino comedy starring Tim Roth; outragous, artsy, funny & a bit horrific, great cameos) The Black Hole (cult classic Disney horror sci-fi) Cat's Eye (Stephen King star-studded horror anthology) Dreamscape (Dennis Quaid sci-fi) Best Seller (James Woods, Brian Dennehy crime/suspense, very cool, very 80s) Sphere (Dustin Hoffman / Samuel L.
