You're not wrong, on top of the stress and sadness from losing his closest friend in Hosea and all of the other deaths along the way. But when he starts to say "I am going to be okay" and then corrects himself to "we are going to be okay" it feels like he's only thinking about himself and not the group

​@@DH33.0but that wasn't the real him. He hit his head during the trolley robbery and the complete 180 in his personality are symptoms of a concussion. The sadness and stress of losing Hosea, knowing Arthur was dying and there wasn't anything he could do about it. And those were men he knew for years, roughly a couple of decades or more. He wasn't a great guy, but had things not fell apart like they did and the head injury I don't think Dutch would have turned out like that. I could honestly see him feeling defeated and instead of going with Micha he just rides off to do things on his own and if he died or got caught he wouldn't care because he had nothing left to live for
