For those who don't know, in dutch, some alphabets are pronounced different. For example: The letter "w" is sometimes pronounced as "v" or "f". The letter "J" is pronounced as "h", and the "g" is pronounced either as "kh' or "gh"

what do you mean? This is the closest living language basically to english that is spoken. In at least half the sentences the its basically mutually intelligible. I know there is older dutch people who have limited english proficiency but there is a reason why the dutch are so good at english, its in the same language family. So much english vocab is from french so a ton of vocab and dutch related grammar would be needed. Compared to spanish this is much easier to be honest. It's common for dutch to sound like english that you just dont know the word rather than a foreign language. It just has the same germanic flow to it.

In some of the Dutch sentences the word "Gaan" (go) is missing at the end. Example: 'Ik moet naar het vliegveld gaan.'. Without it, it sounds like a WhatsApp conversation. "I have to the airport'.
@weetikissa2 жыл бұрын
Literally no one would add the "gaan," at least in the Netherlands. "Naar" contains enough directionality already.
@Jesusaross2 жыл бұрын
Saying 'ik moet zo naar het vliegveld' is definitely correct in speech form Dutch. 'Gaan' isn't really ever added to that. 'Toe' would make more sense after that sentence, but still it's correct in speech form nonetheless.
@FrozenMermaid666 Жыл бұрын
In Dutch, the verb moeten also means to need to (go somewhere / do something etc) so, Ik moet naar het vliegveld means I need to (go to) the airport, and it is kinda implied, so no one adds the verb gaan! It is also implied when using other verbs as well, like, when saying verlang Ik etc! Also, the big term dominar only reflects me The Leader / The Goddess etc aka the being with the totally dominant personality, and cannot be in someone’s name or yt name etc, and must be edited out!
