As a Dutch woman myself, I’m just gonna be blunt. Dutch women are so depended that they give that vibe off. We don’t look very friendly and come off as arrogant a lot. Especially the ones from the big cities who went to college. The ones that come from a certain family or background. If you go into the smaller towns or even the less “snobby” areas, you will find many fun and friendly ones. Sorry not sorry, I said what I said and we Dutch women need to realize this. We don’t need to be the boss of it all, have the last word or be the smartest. I married outside of My own and he pushes back and keeps me grounded. We are very social tho if you get to know us but every country has that certain group of people, that are just blowing it for the rest of us. Dutch men also attract more towards foreigners especially the last couple of years.

What will a hispanic man do in the very same case? Well, generally he will not go alone to the gathering, but if he did, he will try to socialise as soon as he gets there. For this, dancing is helpful, we all love to dance, even if he/she is a stranger, it's not about asking private questions, it's just dancing. If the woman seems comfortable and smiles once in a while, he will start a respectful conversation about her connection with the host, what's her name, etc. If she keeps smiling, then he will ask her for a dance again. And they will go on with the chatting, and will tell her he's leaving and as he's got extra tickets for drinks, if she's interested and will act according to her answer. We're talking about friend's friends or relatives, polite people who will not embarrass you in public.

You cant just complain and bring them down and travel overseas to get yourself a child like looking women in Asia. You think they are all that because they are smaller but this is only because you are used to bigger women but ive been in many places and Dutch women are not that bad to be honest. İt is really the behavior, the way many Dutch women talk,walk,dress and foreign women learn proper hygiëne. They dont just shower , they take it to the next level because their mothers learn them this. Its a cultural thing. Also cooking and cleaning. Yes the women do all that but most of the time Asian men can cook and clean as well. You men focus too much on what Dutch women lack but not the root cause of it. Also , dont you realize the burden Dutch women need to carry that foreign women often dont ? They have to work a lot, they have no time for relaxation or to think about cooking or femininity. Its like we are not allowed to just be, to be women, to be. Our life has headed into extremes. Extremely busy and at the end , little money left. So you men play a big part in this and you have the power to turn things and be of influence. Also learn a little more from foreign men whom also are more charming in their behavior, are more gentleman, more romantic, more passionate. İts not just the foreign women. As a Dutch man I would never openly approach a women and make the first move. It's very easy to know whether is woman is interested because she will look at you first and her body language immediately tells me whether she finds me interesting or worthy of her attention. Women are the gatekeepers and they are the ones ultimately responsible for deciding whether something is going to happen or not. If you like a Dutch man, just give him a warm smile--we are not likely to chase you and make the first move. It works for us Dutch men as many, including myself, are happily married.

Would actually make way more sense if it was the norm that women are the ones who approach men. Then they can choose exactly what men to give attention and don’t need to complain anymore that men they perceive as creeps are talking to them. On the downside of course they have to deal with rejection (especially as most are overestimating themselves and likely only will approach men out of their league), which is why the don’t really dig this either.

So you have a girlfriend and STILL think it is possible to sustain or even get into a committed relationship with a Dutch woman without having intelligence? Without knowing how to talk to women? Without having the emotional intelligence to know how to read people and how to conduct yourself in a manner that is attractive to a woman? If you really think only looks can sustain a relationship with a woman, then I’m wasting my time with you. Go meet people, learn about what makes people tick and go read about human psychology. You make absolutely no sense. Sure, looks can help enormously to get you a one-night-stand, but even so you need a personality to turn that one-night stand into something serious.

Okay this might come across as a bit contoversial to some people however its 's time someone spoke the truth. I've been living in The Netherlands for around 2 years now and the closest female friends I have are Dutch. They mean the world to me really we have fun we can speak about anything and usually I get a sense of sisterhood that I dont get from any other nationality. Howeveeeer...they are special people and they like me a lot but not all Duth women are like that. This country is literally made for women especially those born and raised here. You have people who almost never were criticised or ever faced real discrimination which is good for the most part. But you also get a massive sense of entitlement and this combined with idea that men in general are toxic. Ehm Dutch men are probably the least toxic ones out there. I've dated different cultures and honestly the only complaint i have about Dutch men is that they get avoidant at times. Besides that they are the most polite, healthy and respectful man out there. Dutch men are raised in a culture that basically tells them they suck and every lady should be put on a pedestal and the women are taught the same thing. I've met Dutch women that did AWFUL things to men, that insulted and humiliated them for no reason and the vibe of other Dutch women is YAS SIS DO IT AGAIN HE DESERVES IT. I heard some couples arguing and the lady called the guy a neo coloniser and he apologised which is a bit too much. When Dutch women go abroad - again besides my friends who are few of the most priviledged people out ther and they know it and they are respectful to everyone - they have the same princess treatment they find in Holland and just call everyone toxic or a misogynist if they dont get thigs their way. Which somehow works here. But some of them are straight up rude and unfortunately put other women down a lot. Last time I checked feminsm and female freedom is about equality and a mutual sense of admiration and support. Most Dutch women , and Dutch people unfortunately, hate the international bubble and never miss a chance to how it in a so called feminine way. I call that bs. If youre going to break down another woman at least own it. Chances are if a Dutch woman reads this she will acuse me of having internalised misogyny but thats not true. You cant dodge every realty check unde the flag of mysogynism and every reaction people have of you as a sign of "beig toxic" or "disliking women" . Dutch women do that with every. Single. Critic. I heard stories of someone who whisteled at one riding her bike (I heard its illegal now thats good) and she came back and straight up punched him in the face. And everyone cheered for her. Ehm... is physical violence something to cheer for? Yes what the guy did was wrong but is it feminst if someone beats another person up? Yeah but he's toxic he shouldn't have done it h had t coming. This is EXACTLY the mindset other countries that abuse their women have. The exact same mindset, placing one gender that can do no wrong on a pedestal and taking their side first completely and not only justifying but applauding violence, especially physical. So friendly advice for Dutch ladies that are still reading and dont feel like punching me in the face for what I said... take it easy. You aren't even that gorgeous or amazing, you mostly want compliments all the time and lash out if you dont get them and outside of Holland most of you act like spoiled brats and are the equivalent of Dutch men that played Pokemon Go in temples :)) and some of the female friends I have from Holland 100% agree with that but they wouldn't say it. My closest friend grew up bullied and insecure and got criticised for being too emotional or too soon in love with a man when your go to is rejection or avoidance. Your man think that too and you ar the quickest to judge. Whenever a Dutch man gets an international gf is because "he couldnt pull a Dutch woman" oh really? Maybe some Thailand sex tourists do that sadly but most of my generation does not. The last Dutch man I've dated had everything one, even a partner desired. He dated Dutch women too and some really liked him a lot. But then he traveled a bit and realised hold up i can actually speak my mid in a relationship and I wont be put back in my place or I can do something nice for someone and she wont see it as a threat to her independence. Those things happen ladies and it'd be nice if you acknowledged it. Genuine listening to well intended criticism or observations isnt toxic nor an insult ❤
@ThenewPhonene24 күн бұрын
Oh and one more thing for the 1-2% of Dutch ladies that are true feminist and genuinely want to help and empower others. First of all, I salute you there's not many left and second of all gender discrimination and gender based violence happens A LOT in Holland to mostly foreign women and I mean especially Eastern European women that are more or less forced into prostitution. The real victims of gender discrimination and systematic violence are the most silent ones and the ones that most Dutch women completely hate. I would strongly advise to erase the "Eastern European gold digger / husband thief" mindset that sometimes, this I have to admit, is very true but it doesn't justify for the times in which it's not. They need your help the most! Most of you really are the highest emancipated and if you are real sisters who really care, not just signaling that to fit in, listen to those ladies and try enlightening their minds as well. The real bad and toxic Dutch men do atrocities to foreign women who don't have your power. They know hurting a Dutch woman would cost them a lot so they rage and hurt less heard international women. Unfortunately there is little to no sense of sisterhood within the Eastern European women and yes its their responsibility. However you are the host and a host that wants all women to be their fullest and most beautiful selves and I'm afraid for every difference that matters it has to be one of you that speaks up. Your privilege and emancipation came with an awful price that no one saw coming and that is the fault of exactly the toxic men you were supposed to silence and get back in ther place. They kinda won again but this time in a meaner and sneaker way, this time for every asshole or bastard because I can't call them otherwise, that gets shutted down by a Dutch woman you know he will lash out his toxicity at another that won't speak up her mind! And Dutch women don't speak for them either so the cycle continues. The Netherlands keeps the show of feminism and happiness, statistics prove indeed most successful women in the world and then Mr Nice guy with you goes to Red Ligt District and beats up an Ukrainian woman. And when some hear that in order to keep the facade of Mr Nice Guy they say oh but ofc it was the Eastern European gold digger that made him do it. Think twice and admit you probably thought that, especially if your partner took a trip in certain holiday destinations dont tell me you weren't angry at first at the other woman. I'm telling you if the really oppressed women of Holland would act like you and speak up their minds in the ways that you do which I admire a lot, then The Netherlands will be indeed and for real one of the if not the most feminist country in the world. We've got some way to go until that happens.

As a foreign student who is studying in the Netherlands, I have no energy for relationships, sometimes it’s just that simple. Oh and please, don’t say the typical ‘just be you/just be yourself/don’t make a big deal out of it’, always mindfucking. I won’t approach because yeah, guess what, I don’t wanna bother anyone and I sure as hell don’t want to face rejection. Had some bad experiences when the girls themselves were just crazy and delusional so nowadays, approach me, not the other way around, and stop being arrogant and egotistical, which is what you accuse guys of doing.
