Best EDC is a Victorinox SAK. I prefer the "Fieldmaster". It's been with me forty years, in many situations, and its always filled the need, done the repair, etc. Add a "Firefly" ferro rod in place of the toothpick and it covers "survival" too! Do you guys buy those knives and pay for food and house payment too? Whew! If a knife cost hundreds of dollars to buy, I'm leaving it at home and taking my Mora, the knife I'm not afraid to use. For EDC, the Benchmade Bugout is my choice. If it’s too “aggressive,” the Mini-Bugout…although on my Mini-Bugout, I changed the scales to titanium. On the full size, I got carbon fiber with 20cv steel.

Another great video guys, love it. For me, the most beautiful knife at a reasonable price is my LionSteel T5 satin finish with green micarta handle. I just love it - blade geometry is amazing, great steel, fit and finish is awesome, sheath is beautiful, balance is fantastic and it's only £150 ffs!! I want to have it's babies.

Because of help I got Classic Freedom from Poland. Excellent EDC. One more great EDC is Bark River Ultralight Bushcrafter. I'm in the queue for an in the pocket sheath with UltiClip. Goes in your pocket, stays put and fixed blade advantages. Wouldn't replace folders, but for me would be best. With ball chain it's a necker as well. ULB is a helluva knife, very thin spine, slicey, convex edge and everything CPM 3V has to offer

I'm glad I live in Texas so no one is scared of my EDC, I switch between the Benchmade Adamas Auto and a ZT350TS. I have daily carried a Praetorian T but would actually catch some looks. I would love to see a video on my favorite survival knife, it's the bayonet for my CZ Bren. It's made from a European steel I'm not familiar with but is an absolute tank.

Leatherman Skeletool CX is my best edc option. Decent knife upgrade over the regular. A lot lighter to carry and more comfortable to use as a knife than most multitools. The pliers and wire cutter are useful for my job as are the bit driver with the bit kit I carry in the sheath with it. Stops me having to grab tools from my truck at least once a day.

I cannot give an opinion because before I found your channel I went out,without any research mind you and bought not one but three ESSE knives. The Rowen 6", Rowen 4" modified handle and the izula ll. I'm disqualified from any opinions because my purchases has me stropping my edc,the izula maybe twice a week and sharpening more than I wish. The only saving Grace is all are easy to sharpen. I've had to remove the coating from the spine as to be able to us a ferro rod. Not upset with my purchases I've just had to adapt to them. No,Mikki is not a dickhead. Happy to hear and see all that y'all do, good form and all that,pip pip and cheerio old chaps.

If it has such crappy steel then why is it the best edc? My edc is a Leatherman Skeletool CX. Much better knife and has the basic features I need while being comfortable as a knife and lightweight to carry. I have 10 double ended bits in the sheath which combined with the two in the skeletool gives me 24 bit options.

@@bena3341 its much smaller then the skele, about 1/3 the size. I don't need any bits other then flat and Phillips. A 2" blade, even in bad steel, is enough for daily tasks. Serious about the box cutter blase being the best. Looks silly and usless, but thats the blade used 90% of the time. If you need a bigger knife, skele is much better blade and plyer, agreed.

TOPS Knives are differentially hardened to produce a harder edge but a softer spine for their 1095 knives. This manner of heat treatment produces knives that tend to cut better versus a blade that is Monotempered. Under hard use their knives will bend before they snap. Hope this helps explains why they function as they do.

Could you test the smaller 200 mm Skrama as a main chopper/splitter knife. The bigger one is a beast but for me I think it's overkill. Another knife that I am interested in, the Morakniv Kansbol. My list: - The sharpest: Sandrin (Torino) :-) - Budget: Morakniv Kansbol - Survival: It's not my cup of tea. For me a good bushcraft knife is good for survival. I don't like big heavy knifes. Martin so the 940 edition in carbon fiber with blue back spacers IMO Is the my best edc. Your bug out is the only bug out that I would consider buying. Not a fan I'd rather have the bailout in m4. Totally agree on your choice with the Manix as the sharpest knife. Love Spyderco. 3/4 of my collrxtin is Spyderco. I am a folder carrier. I only own 1 fixed blade and it's in the mail. I got a Spyderco Z Max Mule . I'm going to check out the Bark River knives since you 2 like them soo much

Haven't got enough experience with Bushcraft knives, love the BR Canoe my girl got me though. Won't pick survival, all mine are from my teen years and are cheap. Sharp is absolutely the Manix, which I'm about to touch up in a few minutes. EDC... well... my job kinda has me carrying for defense, and after going with Provoke first then Autocrat, I carry Autocrat but that's also cause it's much lower profile. I'm torn on beautiful, so I'll go with my other gift from my girl, the Bugout Spaced Out.

I agree with Mikkie on the Boker, I don’t like that one at all. That said, I’d always pick some kind of Leatherman over a Victorinox. I hate anything that doesn’t lock open, so regular Victorinoxes are a nonstarter for me. They do make some decent ones with locks though, but those are the single blade variety. For best EDC though, I’d have picked the Benchmade Adamas in Cruwear or maybe the Spyderco PM2 in any of its steels. My favorite is S110V, but those can be hard to find. The new ones are in S45VN though and are fairly easy to find most of the time.

I tell witch 5 Knifes i am use....Survival and Chopping the Schrade Schf 52m ( one of the most underrated knifes ever! 80Euro) , than for Bushcraft the Joker Nordico with Micarta Handle an K720 Steel..i think it cost at the Moment maybe 89 Euro ( comes from the same Factory like the Lars Fält Knife) Low Budget Knife? Oh the Mora Bushcraft...i love the Händle its perfekt for my ✋! The sharpest Knife is my Manly City in Cpm S90v Steel (cost 69 Euro), and for EDC...the one and only Victorinox Huntsman...PS: The Factory edge from the Schrade is terrible, so i hat to resharpen it. And Dbk , i love Your Channel!

You guys could do a series on different countries best legal carry knives. For example in the UK you can only carry a non locking blade no more than 3 inches. I think it would be interesting to see your opinion on what you think would be the best knives around the world depending on what that nations laws are.

Hm.... my knives.... sharpest out of the box: Mora Pro C (sharper as a BRK oder Fällkniven :D) Budget knive: Jääkäripuukko 110 Bushcraft: F1 COS Survival: i don't know.... probably an HM Esee 6 or something EDC: Victorinox Spirit in a horizontal belt sheath (but a WM1 or an izula is also nice)
