Sue that company I’m paralyzed I been threw the same thing those aides are unprofessional don’t know what they are doing. I lived in Duchess county those aides are lazy and they steal from you

Perhaps you should think about trying to contact this Channel and or that guy whose dad died and tell them that you have your own bad experiences with this company ... I'm sure they would love to talk to other people who have had problems with this company to build their court case . You never know maybe later they would give you a little bit of a financial gift or something for helping them with info

@@gardensofthegods I would like to give my experience story in testimony, but I wouldn’t want any gift money just my experience nursing aid care. Being paralyzed is not a easy process, my life has changed in a such way but I got very good therapy down the road where I take care of myself 100% now. God is good for sure but you have to do your part to get results

@@anthonyrose6686 Anthony I'm really glad for you that you were able to get help elsewhere and that you are managing 100% taking care of yourself ... that is excellent given the situation . If you could contact them I would certainly try to do that and I think the testimony would help them and maybe others would come forth to talk about the problems with that god-awful company .

A lot of these Health Care agencies do not vet their staff. Some aides are good but a lot more are just inept, dishonest and will steal at every opportunity. I hired a home health aide to take care of my ex and later found she stole his watch, money from his wallet and used his bank card to take more than $1600 from his account. Fired her and took her to court. Hired another health aide from another agency, it was no better as the aide took his credit card and went shopping with it. She charged more than $650 on his card. I'm pretty sure she stole more items than this. She was also charging her meals on the card. Unfortunately it is very difficult to hire honest reliable aides.

I'm so sorry for this terrible treatment of your loven father , your doing the right thing to make these ppl responsible for not reporting about your father's injury's. It hurt me so bad to see your father falling & hurt himself while his caretaker just sat & watched TV . Shame on them . Do what you have to do to hold them responsible for negligence . May your daddy rest in peace. This was wrong on their part , they know it & have to pay for it .

In this case home care was not the appropriate mode of care. Due to his father's level of wandering, he should've been placed in a nursing facility dementia program. If he couldn't do it on his own how can he believe a stranger could alone. Saying that, the home care attendant should've been trained and report if a case has gone awry.

HOME CARE AGENCIES SHOULD SUPERVISE THEIR HOME HEALTH AIDES ON MORE OFTEN. I LIVE IN A SENIOR CITIZEN BUILDING AND MOST HAVE HOME HEALTH AIDES BUT I DON'T SEE ANYONE COMING AROUND TO CHECK UP ON THEM. SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE SO THE ARE NOT BEING MISTREATED.

Aides should loose their certification and possibly be charged with endangering the welfare of a senior. HENRY, what good are cameras if you're not MONITORING THEM??? You have you fair share of blame in this too.

These problems are rampant throughout the country. Something really needs to be done to attract more responsible people to the field and weed out those who shouldn't be in that business. I just reported one today for making an unauthorized purchase on my debit card. The woman was constantly on her phone and not paying attention. I fell and she was in the next room totally oblivious. I had to yell out to let her know I fell but it's hard to miss a 240 Lb. woman falling in just the next room. She was on her phone and with ear buds on. I bruised my ribs but luckily didn't break anything. As time went on she snuck around to other parts of the house or outside in her car for longer and longer periods to make personal calls, and when she was with me she appeared apathetic. Then last week she lied to the agency to get off early by saying she had a "family emergency" when she was really going to look at an apartment. This unauthorized charge on my debit card yesterday was the last straw. What the hell is wrong with these people! This field seems to attract a criminal element.

Family members give their loved ones to other's Because they can't be bothered with taken care of them. Now, they want to sue someone, I would like to know what the insurance situation was. And, absolutely anyone who have non helpful sibling's know exactly what I'm talking about. They only come around when they smell death. Vultures and parasites. Every single one of you know it. My non working brother turn into a private investigator after our parents passed. I planned on moving back out of town. Whose gonna pay the mortgage take over the house. In every single family you can pick him/her out. This dude didn't do for his loved one. Now he's looking for a pay out. Our elders, wander, fall, do all sorts. There is no sleep or real rest for we who took care of our loved ones. And, there definitely isn't anyone else in the family who will be there to help.

Why do elderly people keep getting abused? If we didn't have to work our entire lives we could spend more time with our loved ones and be there for them instead of getting these agents and deadly nursing homes involved. This is just disgusting. The world is just garbage.

Caring for our elderly is a hugh challenge. Aides are not monitored and often patients can't speak up for themselves. This attracts people who want jobs where they can slack off the majority of the time. Once in a while we get lucky and get matched to a caring and conscientious aide, but it is short lived. the reason is that many home aides are on Medicaid. When they hit that Medicaid threshold, they have to stop working. They cannot afford to buy health insurance (going from zero premium to hundreds of dollars a week). So the revolving door of attendants starts again....going thru temps and aides from Hell before getting a decent one...

What was the point of installing the camera if you couldn’t be bothered to check it? I feel bad for him but seriously, it’s mainly his fault for relying completely on a stranger to take care of your dad with dementia, who wouldn’t be able to tell you if things weren’t going well. I for one, don’t put much faith in people, especially strangers and the fact that people could place their 6 months olds and elderlies with dementia in the hands of a complete stranger and have perfect faith in them is just stupid bordering on lunacy.
