Quick one, on covid, is there a particular vaccine they'd want you to have? e.g. I took one dose of Janssen of which I was informed I don't need a booster, while others have taken two shots of other brands. They will normally accept whatever is the locally available and acceptable vaccine. But if in doubt you can ask the physician locally.

The choice you pick on that list on the DS260 doesn't matter. What matters is whether you meet the requirement or not (if you are the principal applicant).

Hi Simon :) I’ve got a question related to something else than what the video is about but I hope you can let me know. I am a dv2024 selectee and I submitted my DS-260 one day after the results of the lottery came out. I looked through it again today and I just realized I made mistake under „Mother’s surname at birth”; I put her current last name there. Do you think this mistake is big enough to unlock the DS-260? I feel like it may be. What’s your thoughts? My case is not current yet (EU31k)

Hi Simon, I have been for an interview for a visiting visa, in my application form I indicated that i have a child, and i was asked about the age of the child during the interview. I am one of the lucky winners of the 2025 Dv lottery, and i have lost that child through death, two years back and I did not include her name in the application form. I want to know if it is possible for me to include her in the ds260 form thanks.

Hello BritSimon ! Thank you for important information ) I have a one question , it’s a serious . My wife and I sent an application for dv 2024 last autumn. My wife winner. I am derivative. I am not selected .I am figure out that my level education is not enough for dv program . I have a primary education + 1 course in the college. I was sure that it’s enough but I can’t to get academic certificate . Because It’s was a long time . Now It turns out that I made a mistake serious last autumn when I indicated “high school “instead of “primary school “ in autumn . The embassy website says that only the main applicant should have education . Whether to go interview ?

1. The choice you pick on the DV entry for level of education does not cause any change in processing or any problem. 2. The derivative is not required to show they meet any education requirement.
