Hello, will there be any problem if the DOB on your high school certificate is different as compared to your Birth certificate? Passport and birth certificate are ok, but there was a mistake with dob on the high school certificate.

Hi Kwadjo.. the SSSCE certificate shouldnt be bearing a DOB on it, if it did change over the years, u can request waec to correct it. If they will take too much time, you can submit an affidavit confirming the error on the cert , indicating the correct dob.

Congrats on being selected🙏🏽🥳, if you didnt save the actual details at the time of registration, cant recheck. The best thing to do is indicate the correct passport info this time on the DS 260. If asked about it, tell them you might have made a typo at the time of registration. Be honest. Best of luck

Work visas are more guaranteed than dv lottery visas. The dv program is a lottery and mostly the odds are against you. Best you start with work visa and if u are selected in the dv , u can further cement your stay

Would you get an email after you are selected about the interview and any remaining documents?

Once you check the results in the first week of may 2024, you will complete ds 260 online; and email all documents required. Once the dv folks are satisfied , and they have an interview date, they will then send you an email with the 2nd notification to go get medical clearance, police clearance etc and then your interview.

@@ApioChristine-dd6jl i believe so. Police clearance document will vary with each country but when u check the US Embassy in your country how they term that document
