i know that joey and johnny couldn't stand each other, but i still think that in many interviews you can see some kinda friendship, tolerance, respect or whatever it is. i mean they're laughing and smiling at each other when one says a funny or smart comment. warms my heart everytime i see johnny and joey standing next to each other and smile at each other!

yeah, john was in a good mood here and was respecting joey taking the lead in answering questions. in the early days of the band, he didn't like joey to talk, and that was before their falling out. maybe in this moment they had a bit of a under reported grace period in their feud? r.i.p. johnny, joey, dee dee.

I doubt you’ll read this but I’ll put it here anyways. Johnny and joeys beef has been confirmed false. They weren’t besties, but they definitely didn’t hate eachother. This proves that, when things were smooth they were fine. The “beef” would appear when there would be health issues, mental things, and money decisions. It was business casual.
@LetsGoMetsGo3310 ай бұрын
@@dracoschism6839 I would like to believe that. However, did you see the clips from the "end of the Century" documentary where Johnny says he does not know why he was sad after Joey died? he concluded that he was sad because it meant the Ramones were gone, not that the human being he knew all those years was gone. And he also said he did not visit Joey when he was sick in the hospital, even though he was encouraged by something to do so, basically because they don't like each other? It sucks, but it is what it is. Rest in peace to both of them, and Dee Dee, Tommy, Arturo, Hilly, and Setmour and Linda Stein.

she meant old because the remones came out in the 1970s and by 1987 when this was filmed music styles changed alot. the ramones were always like visiting a time capsule...no matter what year it was or where you saw them they looked and sounded just the way they did when they first came out. everything else changed around them but they kept the look and sound completely uniform. it was funny and comical at the time but also extremely satisfying that you could count on them for being consistent.
