You guys need to try a Garrett G series and get off the Precision Turbos. Also the Garrett G30-660 is the best street turbo

Garrets are known to not hold top end power. I think Bader said that in one of his videos and I guess that's why for most of the builds he does for his customers you will see precision or forced performance. Just commenting as a long time follower, doesn't mean my opinions are their opinions.

G30 660 will be a backwards step in power. 54/55 turbo where they precision is a 5858, PS I’ve had a g30 660 they’re great but it won’t have the top end that Devin and bobbi are after

Cylinder four is always the one that gets damaged or had the problems. That is from it being the cylinder that gets the hottest out do the four because the flow isn’t as good at that end of the block. They do make a cylinder cool down mod. The JDM engines use that port but I don’t know why the USDM engines block it off with a plug.

@@bones435 The auto Evo X trans is expensive to rebuild and it blows up or slips even in the 300whp range. I would not advise getting one unless it’s a simple bolt on daily or track car. Even then test your luck.

The car will run, but you'll be venting air to atmosphere that the MAF sensor has already accounted for Instead of recirculating it. You'll run a little rich in shifts but it should be fine.

@@Anfurnyy definitely, but you can do more upgrades in the future without having to remap all the ECU, just s few clicks here and there to enable/disable certain sensors. I upgraded my stock evo 8 to a Link ECU in January and I'm not going back :)
