I find these stock motor videos to be super informative. It's good to know the true potential of your stock motor so you already know when you're entering the "danger zone". I have a 2013 veloster and there's barely anything out there as far as pushing it to its limits but I'd love to know. Great video btw.

​@le_pingouinChristopher not the N motors, they use basically the same block as the evox, and caliber srt4's. he has a normal veloster. I've never seen a blown motor from the N models except probably 2 when they moneyshifted it, the dangers of auto rev match i guess.

@irlredline7965 it was part of the development, mitsu dodge and hyundai engineered the 4b11 block, thats why the veloster N can also fit the evox oil filter. I believe they all use the same pistons, rods and crank its just the difference between the 3 are the head.

450-500 is nothing on the 4B. Still in the safe region. Keeping the motor alive is all based on torque. How it's ramped in, etc. Our motors are extremely stout otherwise. Torque kills the 4B11.
