Interesting. Keen for more of these videos. Would love to see a jade X prime pullapart video to see how it all works.

Yeah I’ll do a jade x prime video next week so we can take a look at the adjuster and how it all works.

I usually prefer a coiled bike but since DVO does not recommend the Jade X for the Levo do you think that the Prime with a HV can would work? Riding a little over 96kg and prefers downhill.

@ yip the HV aircan works great with the levos

Τhanks for the comparison. I have a first gen Privateer 141, came with a Float X with a pretty light tune (as I was told by the guy who services it). I think I'd like the 3 position compression of the Topaz pro as I do a lot of climbing, both fireroads and some tech. I like the idea of a firm(er) middle position that still allows suspension to move for undullating trails. The 141 has a lot of antisquat but finding the perfect balance between support and getting the wheel move out of the way easily has been hard, always have to compromise one way or another. Which version of the Topaz would you recommend? High volume can or low volume? I'm around 72kg dressed up and mostly ride natural stuff, no bike parks, rarely shuttle. But we do have some jumpy, pumpy flow trails as well.

@@soulzerosix hey mate. Those frames have a fairly low average leverage and low progression so the HV aircan will suit you better and I’d personally suggest the pro shock as it sounds like it’s going to suit the type of riding you plan on doing

I own both. I like the Jade x on my trail bike when I do a lot of climbing. I ended up giving it to my bro because he liked it so much and replaced his fox. Jade is for DH. It very very plush and eats rock gardens like its nothing but I would not suggest you put that on a trail bike. I left my Jade on my DH and that one I kept because I ride mostly bike park. I might buy the new Jade X prime but im skeptical because I like the switch better.
