Hmm it's a very soothing song. I think it's about going after your dreams but getting lost in the pursuit, becoming someone you don't know anymore and living out a life that you didn't exactly imagine for yourself. At that time, on a drunken but sobering night, you just want to go back to who you were when you weren't lost. For a lot of people that is home, where you grew up and where your mom comforted you and shielded you from the outside world. It was probably in a small town, before you moved to a bigger city to pursue your dreams. Big cities can sometimes be... so cold and big. Sorta like the landscape of this music video. Mmm yes, I like the message a lot. It's very appealing to the youth, and your voice is as beautiful and soothing as always Dvwn. In a way I feel like your voice is the comfort that this song was searching for. The contrast between sad lyrics and your comforting voice is really quite satisfying.
