Way back, the Drum Workshop offered some drums that were made from wood found in a river that was really olde what were they, anybody remembers/know?
@drummerszone4 жыл бұрын
Yes we do, and actually read up about it while doing research for our article on this! "In the late '90s, John learned of 500-year-old hardwood that had sunk in Lake Superior 100 years ago. The logs were harvested by underwater treasure hunters and used to create DW's Timeless Timber line, featuring 25th Anniversary Lake Superior Maple sets in 1997 and DW's 30th anniversary Lake Superior Birch sets in 2002." - copied this phrase from the official DW story. This story is quite similar to British Drum Company's 'The Duke' snare drum, only with a bit older wood: drummerszone.com/news/article/namm-2018-64-13633/64/meet-the-duke-a-3000-year-old-british-snare-drum
