People that say “Yeah but in a street fight it’s different” What is stopping a trained martial artist from also biting, also eye coughing, also nut kicking, and also shooting you in the face? They literally have every single tool you have, but with a more well rounded skill set and the experience to remain composed in these situations.

Yep its like an artist vs a battle rapper. One can doneverything the other can do
@TonyMishima927 ай бұрын
The point is that with those extra tools, you don't need to be as skilled to survive. It makes a more even playing field where all of the skills don't quite matter quite as much. An unskilled street dude with something in his back pocket is much more likely to beat a martial artist on the street than in the ring. Sure, an MMA guy can bite, but he has less of a reason to if he's getting the better of the grappling exchanges. Etc.
@gucciadjective77457 ай бұрын
@@TonyMishima92 But those skills DO matter so much, regardless of biting and scratching. There's always the "oh well he might have a weapon" justification which is again gibberish, so can the fighter. The idea that someone who trains to do something everyday can be outwitted by someone who doesn't, but has access to tools the fighter also has e.g. biti g and gouging, is utter gibberish
