A king people wanna fight? Use him a in a unit without master rune of grugni I like great weapon with 2× fury MRune of gromrill and 2×shielding A unit of 16 longbeards is a very good delivery system

If you want a fighty king that people don't just avoid, you could try putting him in with a lot of irondrakes or even thunderers/quarrelers spread wide. Reform once in combat or close to combat. Fight him or get shot up all game.
