I pray they develop the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) as well on similar lines (Brownfield Expressway) otherwise the intersection point might become a bottleneck in future. Also, maybe Haryana Government can plan to expand the Gurgaon-Faridabad highway (SH137) to 6 Lanes from 4 Lanes. That would greatly help in easing traffic congestion. Also for the growth of Haryana, it is essential that Government focuses on ease of transportation between Gurgaon & Faridabad. Metro needs to be pushed forward to connect Gurgaon & Faridabad.

But the Delhi portion will not be ready by 16th. The expressway will not connect to Dwarka or Airport immediately. Although the construction on this segment is on war footing to enable it open partially by this month, I fail to understand why there is a lack of sync between contractors of different segments, why no overview by NHAI, why possible bottlenecks are not addressed at beginning...rather than at end. Then scramble to finish project when govt fixes inauguration date (before MCC) or inaugurate partially completed projects.

5:34 creating junctions as this may look great from the sky, but I'm sorry to say hasnt been built from a traffic management point of view.. I'm no expert, but I do drive at 100-160kph in the west.. there are 4 traffic cross over points on this junction, where traffic merging onto either highway will have to cross paths with traffic coming off. The result is people crossing lanes against each other in a short space which is a nightmare at high speeds.. this is going to lead to high accident rates, and will become a congestion hotspot as drivers will inevitability have to slow down to navigate other drivers crossing lanes. Drivers probably wont notice it initially, but within the next 5 years they certainly will as the number of cars increase on the roads
