I love how dark they went with this version of "The Batman". They clearly took inspiration from the "Joker" movie to craft this one. Although people tend to think Batman is benevolent and charitable, which he is. He does have a very dark side to him. Where he can push his code of not killing right to the edge and get away with it.

This is honestly everything I wanted from a Batman film. Batman’s detective work finally being shown off, his brutality in combat, the Riddler giving off Se7en/Zodiac/Saw vibes, Colin Farrell’s unrecognisable portrayal of the Penguin...it looks so damn good. Pattinson looks great in the suit and I love like the vibe throughout the trailer, it’s very reminiscent of Batman: The Animated Series and the Arkham games (particularly Arkham Origins) and Year One

He's in his second year of being Batman. Riddler, Catwoman, and Penguin are all starting up as criminals as well. This movie will showcase his detective skills. Which we havent seen in other movies. Unfortunately this trilogy will be a stand alone like the Nolan trilogy. This won't connect to the rest of the DC universe.

In the panel for the movie the director said they’ve only shot 20-30% of the movie. So we got a lot more coming. Also in this movie Bruce has only been Batman for around 2 years. The director even said that he’s a “growing legend” and some people in Gotham don’t even believe that Batman is real. This film is gonna be so good.

This is gonna be so sick. Showing the detective side to him is gonna be great to see. Also, the beatdown he did on that guy was interesting because people forget that batman is a punisher. He may not kill everyone but the injuries he inflicts are huge. I feel like people treat him like more of a superhero when he’s more of a vigilante I’d say. Year two of Bruce as Batman. Riddler, penguin and catwoman are in there but they aren’t theirs iconic characters yet. They’re going for a “timeless” type time era. You don’t know if it’s past or present. This is separate from any dc universe but who knows bc flash will intertwine everything. Either way, props to DC!

It's year 2. Batman is still making a name for himself, he's working with the police, but they dont trust him at all, he's still on that super dark, deep, depressive, vengeful mode, where he's just plain brutal in name of making things right. Catwoman still does't even have a full suit, his own suit is just the first draw of what it will become in later years. And they only shot 25-30% of the movie, so this isnt even a full trailer, is a trailer for less than 1/3 of the movie. This is gonna be amazing.

I love it. Early Batman. This is a young, angry Bruce who lacks control. You can still see the deep rooted sense of justice and wanting to do the right thing, but this is Batman before gaining the sense of direction that guides his moral compass and emotions going forward. Like he says here "I am vengeance." That is the base of his actions here, getting revenge. And it shows.

He was the guy in the rain and the guy in the car who was like, "This guy's crazy!" Also, Andy Serkis is playing Alfred. You hear his voice when Batman is in the Batcave and he says, "You're becoming a celebrity." And, as someone else mentioned in the comments, they only finished 25% of the movie as of DC Fandome. This movie MAY not come out in 2021 at this rate because Robert Pattinson has COVID, so... yeah... filming has ceased, yet again.
