heck yeah she looked scared shitless. I love love love that they're portraying batman as truly terrifying here. He's not some GRANDIOSE HERO coming in with the big brass songs in the background nah nah that's superman's thing. Batman is FEAR INCARNATE and i love that. cant wait. Hence WHY his themes incorporates a lot of string instruments-those instruments are often used in HORROR scores.

I think they said he's only 2 years into being batman and I think around this time he's usually unhinged and less experienced so he much more brutal at times. I like to think of it like in Batman Arkahm Origins where he's nearly the same. He's just much more angry at this stage and I'm also hoping to see him mess up a few times in this movie like in Origins when he chokes someone while interrogating them. Can't wait for a younger Batman just like we got to see a younger Spiderman. Always nice to see where they first begin

I think The Riddler is the perfect villain for a psychological thriller version of The Batman. I wouldn't mind if they keep him as a villain for the whole trilogy like joker would have been but I don't think you can do a Batman franchise with Joker so I think we eventually will see him.

This is the most PISSED OFF Batman I think I’ve ever seen!!! You can feel how overwhelming his rage is. He doesn’t kill, he beats them so badly the bad guys wish for a quick and painless death. The look Selina gave to Batman when he is pummeling that guy, he looks like he will ground and pound you until there is literally nothing left but a red smear. I asked for a movie that looks like The Dark Knight meets Se7en and I got it.

Yea basically the writers said this is gonna be Year One Batman where he's still trying to cope with his parents death, still filled with the rage and pain from that fateful night and that he's gonna obviously be more impulsive since he hasn't found the balance yet in who he truly is. In conclusion.... expect a Batman who's brutal mean, breaks arms and legs just cause he wants to and who isn't going to be utilizing stealth and strategy as much when entering a room of armed thugs.
