Not too mad at it, he’s still learning after all. In the Long Halloween (where this film takes some inspiration from) Batman missed a lot of stuff and got the identity of the killer wrong at one point, and that was set in year one Also Joker is gonna be built up to be the main villain for the final film in this universe but he’s gonna be expanded upon throughout the universe as it continues
