His zanpakto literally put people under a hypnosis a reality they thought was real for over hundreds of years. They only saw him if he chose for them to see him. The tsukyomi is based on charkra consumption but it can still end before the user wills it to. The infinite tsukyomi is the only one you can make the case for but that isnt of madaras usage but that of the stupid tree ability lol. Madara cant just use that at will compared to aizen. We literally seen the tsukyomi be countered in Naruto 🤣 that means it can be broken without having a mangekyo sharingan. And the hogyoku would disrupt the skill the moment aizen sense something is seems off because it develops with him. It's literally a hard counter to madara, leading to the edge being to Aizen.

Sharingan can not break ANY ILLUSION, it can not even break illusions inside Naruto verse, not to mention Kyoka. which is not "illusion" it's a hypnosis and no it got ZERO counters, there are kidos and powers in bleach which can negate or break illusions, but nothing works with Kyoka, because as said. NOTHING can break it, you may even know that you are under it, but you will never ever get out.

Kyoka suigetsu literally translates to “illusion”, it’s not actual hypnosis, hypnosis is the ability to make you control someone and make then do anything you want, for example, vampires have hypnosis as they can make you do anything you want however kyoka suigetsu doesn’t do that it allows you to manipulate 5 senses, that’s not hypnosis it’s illusion (simple logic). It has zero counters in bleach because there’s no abilities in bleach that allows you to resist mental attacks so it wouldn’t work the same in other anime, another thing bleach characters are never aware when they are under kyoka however sharingan allows you to detect mental attacks it’s a passive ability the sharingan has. The sharingan would break out of kyoka suigetsu. You have not watched Naruto kid.

The only reason people think Aizens hypnosis is hot shit is because no one in bleach can resist it, no one in bleach has shown any kind of resistance to illusions so ofc kyoka always works on everyone in the cast. "but what about Ywachs almighty?" Ywachs almighty is the ability to perceive every timeline, really OP but it doesnt matter if you can see every possibility if someone comes along and hijacks your brain and controls what you can see in the first place, Kyoka was a perfect counter to almighty, ANY illusion or mind control would be because it circumvents the ability entirely. Put someone like itatchi in bleach and he walks through the whole cast cause they have no illusionary resistance. "the sharingan only deals with optical illusions, kyoka controls the 5 senses" wrong, tsyukoyomi controls all 5 senses AND your perception of time and space, it literally mentally puts you in another dimension and can make you experience entire lifetimes in under a second ...the sharingan broke out of it and knit reality back together for sasuke. The best time feat kyoka has is making someone lose track of time by putting them in a trance. There really is no comparison, the sharingan has been shown to beat things on a greater scale than kyoka, yet kyoka has never encountered anyone with mental resistance let alone someone with an ability like the sharingan that SPECIFICALLY breaks out of illusions and mind control. "sharingan based illusions wouldnt work on aizen cause of chakra networks" Jirayas explanation of genjutsu was instantly proven to not apply to sharingan based illusions after it was given in the show, people always leave that out lol. Naruto tried turning off his chakra network around his brain and it didnt work against itatchi and he wasnt even using tsykoyomi . On top of that, spirits without chakra networks have been shown to fall under sharingan genjutsu (the tailed beasts) and thats exactly what aizen is. in terms of illusions, hypnosis and resistance to. its not even close. Madara counters perfectly. This says nothing for the other aspects of the fight though

Kishimoto (author of Naruto) originally plan to end Naruto after the battle with Pain (Akatsuki). But the editor (aka publishing company aka Shounen Jump) was like : "No! your manga is popular! keep going!" , so he's "forced" to continue the story with some changes from his original plan, featuring Madara and was planning to let Naruto and Sasuke beat him... but then again the editor said "No! Continue!", so he had to buff up Madara to keep it continue. ... it keeps going like that until Madara is too strong to beat... so he had to introduce Kaguya which also opens up the plot for Boruto later on. And thanks to that editor, Kishimoto had to postpone his honeymoon for a decade!

Probably the biggest thing Death Battle got wrong is the fact that Aizen's Kyouka Suigetu is NOT AN ILLUSION. it's complete hypnosis of ALL senses, not just the eyes. Not to mention the fact that both Aizen and Madara were heavily underscaled, Plus the Soul Society even stated that it's impossible for Aizen to die due to the power of the Hyogoku. Overall, despite claiming to have done "extensive research", they got a lot of things wrong on both sides.

It gets turned to dust before it even touches him and we see this with a pipe bomb Ichigo's friends throw at him, a human, a spiritual attack from Don Kanonji, and when his reiatsu is being restrained against actual Shinigami and those black eyeball things that Yhwach spits out after eating the Soul King, he even mocks the other Captains for having to bust out their Bankai to do what he can do by flexing. Maybe untouchable is over selling it, one just needs to be immensely powerful to withstand it,- like Yhwach levels of OP or he has to let you touch him. So we will assume Madara has some way to protect his soul unlike everyone else in Naruto such that he can touch Aizen, okay? That still means all his ninjutsu is doing jack shit and he has to fight hand-to-hand.

By can't die means Aizen can't perish on a metaphysical standpoint. He can't go to hell or reincarnated as a living thing because of his transcendence into an immortal. He is an independent entity to a universe that follows the cycle of life, death, and damnation. By that shinigami, hollows, and quincies can't 'kill' him.

I love the animation but they missed out so much about Aizen. Like the fact he still has th ehogyoku and can never die.... The fact that they had him evolving in battle but still say he has no hogyoku makes no sense. I love madara and I love aizen but the fact that they even thought putting an immortal god up against madara is beyond my belief and the fact madara won due to breaking out of "PERFECT HYPNOSIS" and having attacks that can destroy your soul so you can't regenerate (Aizen literally is a soul and regenerates all the time) is beyond my belief.

I like how they said that Madara's sharingan can break out of illusions, but kyoka suigetsu isn't an illusion, it's total hypnosis. Illusion: makes you perceive things in a different way. Hypnosis: affects the way you perceive things. Hypnosis is basically a state of being. Not to mention that Aizen was able to fool a guy that can see future timelines. Edit: Basically hypnosis has complete control over you and illusions just make you trip balls.
