I put a Vega Trem on an early Squier Strat because the stock bridge was unusable. I know, I know. A Squier? :D I was blown away by what an amazing piece of hardware this is. Stays in tune without a locking nut. The thing is totally worth the price!

@@MastersofShred there is another product called a guitar nut buster. It’s a product that sits on the strings past the nut and locks the strings. The Vega trem plus the guitar nut buster allows for tuning stability equal to or greater than a Floyd rose original. The really great thing about the Vega is you can change saddle height. That way it works with any radius fretboard easily.

Installed three of these last year, Totally agree best trem ever. The most buttery smooth feeling trem, very responsive. I feel like its up range is amazing. My only concern is the black finish seems to be wearing off fast, and I did have an issue with the black screws to install. They got all beat up. they where just in a bag with other parts.

You know, there's something good about not practicing too much, but never practice too little as you get older.You don't want to burn the joints site in your hand and your fingers.And that's the only downfall about aging.So he might be right about certain things that I know myself.Sometimes I practice too much.My hand gets a little bit sore but if I just practiced just to write him out, it feels good and I don't get any stress anyways.Thanks

I have one of these trems on my strat along with the Fender roller nut and I can say that the guitar stays in tune no matter how aggresive I get with the trem. Such a smooth action. It's even better than my German made Floyd Rose trems and I have a few of those. This is a great trem and worth the money.
@willrichtorАй бұрын
It's all about the setup. My 6 screw trems on my Strats don't go out of tune. You can't do the same extreme dives that a Floyd or Kahler or some other trems can, but you can absolutely be every bit as stable with a synchronized trem and split shaft kluson tuners if you take the time to set it up well and do a good job when you string up.

I have a Fender Deluxe Roadhouse Strat with the same Vega Trem installed on it. It sounds and play, amazingly! I'm actually looking to sell it because I'm not right-handed. I bought it because I was able to get it on layaway for an alright deal and I like to have both left and right handed guitars on deck but I need a new lefty guitar...so it needs a new home. It's the Deluxe Roadhouse model that retailed for close to $900 (the one that came with locking tuners) and it has the Vega Trem upgrade.

I put one of these on my Strat about a year ago. Worth every penny. The Vega is the best Strat style trem bar there is. My Strat was always pretty good at not going out of tune, but now it never goes out. And its just as touch sensitive as Dweezil is showing here. Buy one, you will not regret it.

I have one gold model, they are real good trems for sure .. nuther good way to set your 6pt trem up is to do it like a dual point using PRS style ring shank screws, these screws have a ring cut into them just below the head and the trem sits right in there, this way like a 2pt trem you can use as many screws as you like well at least 2
@brandonjackson58652 ай бұрын
This is a game changer for 6 screw trems I bought six prs style screws and started with six but eventually wound up only using the two outside and it’s an incredible difference in feel and tuning stability

sounds nice for less radical trem usage. I have an Edge Zero II that has blown me away for years. literally. maybe just a fluke, but I have never in my life has a tremolo be THIS stable, ever. tried real Floyd roses Spyders, even the one kERRY KING supposedly uses on a guitart Neil Moser sold to me & NO tremolo opn the planet has been as reliable for abusive radical or mild usage as my Edge Pro II . I have MGWTYM, bought it in ´89. It is a veritable 80s teenage shred-fest and I will go as far as saying this: along with Vito Bratta, Dweezil was THE guy doing taps who was ahead of everybody. He came up with some FUCKIN COOL tapped runs and textures, VERY Van Halen-esque. In fact, Dweezil was my pick for the Hagar-Anthony tribute (no disrespect to the mighty Satch)

Vega Trem stays in tune great but it's definitely a tone changer vs a stock stratocaster tremolo. For me the stock stratocaster tremolo sounds much better and the Vega Trem is very scooped sounding and leaves a big hole in the midrange.. so in my case I wasn't willing to sacrifice my tone for a trem that stays in tune a little better than my stock trem.. so if you have a guitar with too much midrange, then the Vega Trem may balance your guitar out.. for me, no thanks..
