Everyone knows what a fan Dweezil is of Eddie’s playing and I’m pretty sure Dweezil was channeling a little of “Girl Gone Bad,” in that intro. Then the main riff is sort of Randy Rhodes like. One things for sure, that dude is amazing.

In 91, I was in guitar center in Hollywood, picked up a neon green Kramer and it was signed by Dweezil. I wanted it so bad but I was there on vacation visiting my uncle and was out of cash. I did ask the guy at guitar center how much it would be to ship it to Delaware in case I could somehow get the cash for my uncle to pick it up for me. The guy asked, where's Delaware ? In Montana? What do they teach these fools in school that the first state is???

Moon Zappa has a wicked vocal on this one . Dweezil during his VH influence days.He is playing a green Charvel thru a Carvin half stack, great tone without a marshall.

Such a brilliant song. Dweezil sure can play, and Moon sure can sing, when she wants to (as she does here). It sounds like something Alice Cooper would have done - and I mean that as a great compliment - only better (if you ask me), because it features a female vocalist. Besides that, it has such a great roiling stormcloud-dark sound. I love it.

I love this song , the intro has harmonic tapping like many Van Halen songs. I wish he made more songs like this. Not enough people know about this album. I still have the tape.

CD reissue please? C'mon Dweezil, lot of people want it!!

All the songs on this album are on KZbin individually.

Yeah, you can get a vinyl copy pretty reasonably, but the CD goes for a ransom most times. I still have my cassette, CD and vinyl. Glad I bought way back in the day.

@@karoshiga I had the tape but it’s ruined. “Barking pumpkin” records !

The song “let’s talk about it “ is in a lesson by Mike Gross. The intro which is open harmonics, and the main riff which is in drop D tuning. The rest of the song is up to the player.

Why wasn't this the hit of the summer?

Correction. Most of this album is on KZbin. Some of the songs have been deleted. The whole album was available but one half of the songs are gone . Dweezil is selling that green guitar for like 30 thousand dollars. If you want it act fast. He is selling tons of old equipment, pedals guitars and amps . If you have the money pick one up🤟

Yeah, I've always wanted that Charvel but... Not saying I couldn't but I've got other things that need $30k. If I had it to burn, i would.

@@karoshiga save your money man. You could get a new car for that. Nothing fancy. Basic transportation. The original VH Frankenstein was less than 200 for the body and neck. They were going to throw it away. I hate to say this but your sound comes from your fingers and your mind. I have a squire bullet w Seymour Duncan pickups. It sounds good enough for me.🎸

@@petebrenner6074 like i said, not gonna. But if I was made of money i would, just to have. Still playing my old 1990 Ibanez RG770. Only one I held on to over the years. I don't play enough now to warrant spending big dough on a guitar.

What about “My guitar wants to kill your mama “? Hilarious ! Dweezil was friends with Eddie. Ed showed him the proper way to play “Runnin with the devil “ once. He came over to Zappa’s house and they were friends from then on. Dweezil does a wicked cover of “Eruption “. As good as the original. Everybody tries to learn that song but only a select few can do it. I sure as hell can’t play it. 😕

Have that album as well, but for me it's just playing too straight forward. Bad Day and Confessions are much better discs IMO.
