Man Dwight never was the center piece on offense after he left Orlando the team was built around him inside out give dwight the ball and score and kick to tje shooters once in la it was all kobe once in houston it was all harden by then he lost a step he should of stayed in Orlando and there would be a statue out front of him he still holds all kinds of records

Well when Houston came from being down against the Clippers 3-1 to go to the West Finals. Due to Howard, J. Smith, Corey Brewer with Harden being a no show as usual. I'm pretty sure that would be another one. Howard just didn't receive being offensive focal point anywhere else like he did in Orlando

People forget how good this magic team was. Yall disrespecting the 08-09 magic team for real. Good shooters all over the floor, defense was incredible, they played with great tempo and energy and had amazing chemistry. Lebron wasn't gonna be able to win the championship with the personal he had on his team. A team with great chemistry and a team that has an all time player like lebron it was pretty clear how they were able to dominate the regular season and win 66 games. But in the playoffs its different you need actual playmakers, big shot makers, players that bring that tough competitive edge to be able to win. This cavs team lacked that.
@bobbyvalentino67736 жыл бұрын
And Mo Williams being a shell of himself during that series ain’t help either. Nothing like his regular season self and was really supposed to be that 2nd playmaker for lbj
@PM-qb6hj6 жыл бұрын
Savage Opress I think people underrate the Magic team purely cos of Dwight. As the main guy he was so inconsistent. Just look at his series vs the Cavs where he drops 25/14 on 70FG% then follows that up with 15/15 on 49FG% vs the Lakers lol. If he turned up that team was great, but if your star doesn't show up, you instantly become so much worse.

I still remember Orlando's Finals series with the Lakers. If only Van Gundy rode Rafer Alston's game all the way and didn't use the hobbled Jameer Nelson, the Magic could have won the series and the championship.
@Angsc095 жыл бұрын
Thus, the conspiracy of Jameer Nelson costed the Magic title existed.

Yeah Otis Smith was with the b.s. Rafer, and old head Anthony Johnson were playing lights out in their roles. They forced Nelson into the starting lineup after not playing for 4 months and Rafer threw a tantrum, and pretty much killed the chemistry.
