When my daddy passed away I went to his home to clear everything out and clean before the new owners took posession. I found alot of old books about World War 1, World War 2 and Vietnam War as well amongst the books, all his vinyl records and vintage news clippings etc... I found a Dwayne Yokam CD. I thought it was odd to see that as one in his collection. I immediately listened to it and have not stopped listening since! Such an exquisite voice. So unique from any other. Watched him in videos later and was so impressed with his style I now own every everything Dwight Yokam. Thank you daddy for leaving me such a treasure to find.

Come on, i agree anything newer than 2005 is not country, but Dwight You is and was never accepted as country, and i grew up in Bakersfield and the central valley. He was trying to be different than Garth, Alan, Clint, Brooks and Dunn and Tim all who were dominating the time. The reason why Dwight is NOT sitting in a billion dollar house and owning Crowded Bars like all the rest of the 90s crew.
