That country was built from scratch just hundreds of years ago and was never homogenous, so you had to bring many cultures in to even start it. But Germany had its own culture for much longer and was homogenous, much like other European nations many of which try to be like the USA and become multicultural hubs, but it does not work the same for them. The only one it might work for is the UK and i am not even sure about that.
