Religion is a personal choice. It’s a belief, non tangible real world application. Therefore I feel it should not be a factor outside your person or immediate family. Be respectful of others, whether you believe or not. If you know your personal belief is controversial, refrain from publicly expressing yourself. Your beliefs are just that, yours and yours alone. I personally see many individuals regardless of beliefs bring conflict upon themselves. If you choose to live in a country that doesn’t support your beliefs, then respectfully learn the language and local culture, and keep your beliefs separate

There is a basic honesty problem in this discussion caused by the status of religion. Religion and culture go hand in hand and if you home is such that you need to seek happiness in other countries, it is not unfair to be asked to leave your religion or culture behind. A society needs shared values.
