I see sustainability, not by fishing nets and use in the production of a car, but how easy it's to dismantle the car to it's core components, that video of the recycling of the BMW proves otherwise, that's reflected on it's maintenance. They should focus on safety, engineering, car driving, drive trains, battery longevity, efficiency, easy replaceable parts and end of life, not making playstation's full of bugs with recycle fishing nets creating marketing trends, they should focus on making cars.

That is in terms of sustainable production process, not ev sales or production numbers. Look at the heading of the charts. Frankly I am not surprised to see Tesla to get 0 rating in sustainability. They are cheaper and big in volume, which is great for availability and sales. But you can not do it sustainably. This is partly the reason why German cars are expensive. You can have it all.

Those cars shown which are crushed are test cars. They have no tax paid and are in a state they are not allowed to be sold. E.g. pre-production ECU hardware etc. You wouldn't want to buy a car where the brakes might not work 😉

My city is an exception to this, but until more cities - particularly in the USA - invest in wider reaching and more frequent transit connections, there will be millions of people for whom the best option would to be keep an old car on the road.

The German car industry is not at all competitive in the production of electric cars. They are technically backward and twice as expensive as the global competition, that's why they will fail. The best-selling models in Germany are American Teslas, which was unthinkable not long ago.😄

Nobody said VW and BMW overtook Tesla is anything else but a lot of People in the Comments probably only read "BMW and VW have overtaken Tesla" and immediately scrolled to post a Comment instead of watching the Video. True that their environmental awareness is not as strong as the Europeans but all Europe (and North America) does is just simply ship the waste to somewhere else…and guess who is the biggest recipient of industrial waste?😂😂😂 Also this report didn’t mention a thing about what to do with EV batteries, the biggest polluters of all.
