Dwyane Wade's game is the closest ever to a young Jordan where as Kobe's is closer to an older MJ's. Kobe has always relied more on the jump shot than taking someone off the dribble. Wade is just a monster off the dribble though like MJ when he was young.

He still can. His knees were a problem for him the whole year. Even with Knee issues, he was still averaging 22 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block in the regular season and 23 points,5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block in the playoffs. The way he last three games of the Indiana series was incredible as well. Especially the last game.

I just love this guy. I have been a big fan of Wade since 2006. I still remember the moment of the final game when Heat hit back its opponent team after losing first two games. He has an incredible magical energy for his play. I'm not sure about him being the best player in NBA but im damn sure he is the best player for giving entertainment of basketball to viewers! I agree The only difference between the 06-09 Wade and D Wade this year is that I think its finally getting to him that he needs to look after himself health wise, so he has smartened up and has shared the load with LBJ and Bosh so he is better off. Wade will probably put up a couple monster games in the playoffs if the heat's back is against the wall. Wade needs to save those special games for when they matter. If he plays smart and fine tunes his jumper, he has 3-4 more good years left in him

But now Pau and Lamar are very strong players. I think Wade and Kobe are both playing support roles now to a team, both are playing to win titles. Was this the 08-09 season when d-wade averaged 30.2 points and has one of his best seasons in stats? that year was all d-wade, and the eyar before his team has less than 15 wins so he basically single-handedly revived his team, and set nba history too with some of his stats that season. I think last few years, like Wade, Kobe was the man in LAL. But this year both players are taking a step back as they've added players or in Kobe case, his players have grown and developed. LAL is no longer just Kobe, it's a well balanced team with very few weaknesses. Pau Gasol for me is a great player, no one is perfect, but most teams around the league would take him if he was offered for free. During Shaq's time you had to go to Kobe at the end of the game because of Shaq's free throws.

Lebron might have been a big reason for theyre wins against the lakers after he joined miami but don't forget that wade has more games on kobe. The only time he actually catches wade off guard is in the allstar game where nobody plays proper defense. Wade tried to this year and he got criticised heavily for it with the "flagrant foul"

@VedoB hell, the scarier part for me is to watch lebron get single coverage. he went 1 on 5 in cleveland and was still unguardable (well until the celts shut him down).. i mean for the 9 best offensive players to be on 1 team with all garnering double teams night in and night out (bosh was doubled in the paint a lot) it will be interesting to see what kind of defense teams will come up with... this team can seriously be unguardable when they develop chemistry.
