D-Wade showed everything in this run that we’d see in his NBA career. Mid range mastery, circus layups, highlight dunks, blocks on big men, clutch shots… all time great.

Wade's change of direction on a dime, his explosiveness, skill, and overall athletic ability were off the charts.

I’ll never forget watching that Kentucky game live. Still the best performance I’ve ever seen in college, including the Durants, Blakes, etc. It was unreal. And I loved it because f**k Kentucky.

I still have nightmares about Wade's triple double against Kentucky. We were a 1 seed that year and could've gone all the way but unfortunately for us, Wade was playing out of his mind

Man that one hurt. It was unfortunate we ran into one of the top sg’s to ever play in Wade & he tore us up. I think if we would of played any other team besides Marquette & maybe Syracuse with Melo we probably would of won the ship

I remember watching this tourney thinking he has to be a top 3 pick. Granted Bron and Melo were in that draft. I would have taken him at 2.

How on earth did the Pistons pass on this D Wade for Darko Milicic?
@terryindachat7296
@terryindachat7296 Ай бұрын
They already had Rip Hamilton, Billups, their need was at Center at the time. Darko could run, block, dribble and do everything but be a legit big man, couldn't post, soft, wasn't much of a rebounder, despite size he lacks strength and got bullied, didn't have that toughness to make it as a Center back then. Pistons should've taken Chris Bosh.

That play at 6:00 is ridiculous. Ludicrous block, then ya sure give it back to me on the run in traffic and I'll go 1 on 5 and pull a lefty reverse after I beat their whole team down the floor. Unreal, I might have to go watch The Cube now.

they thought he was the closest to jordan by his third year in the league. also by his 6th year (2009) and 8th year (2011). his peak is the closest to jordan’s. he has the second best peak ever.

@@LucrativeLessonsWithLandy dwyane wade's peak is good but no way it's better than MJ, Shaq, LeBron and many more. Definitely not top 2.

He got some comparisons because he was so athletically smooth & clutch early on. It wasn't overkill though like it was w/ Vince & Kobe.
@darshloaf
@darshloaf 2 жыл бұрын
@@LucrativeLessonsWithLandy His peak was incredible; personally think it was similar to Tim Duncan's peak but not as long. Both were the best all-around players in the league for roughly 4 or 5 years (Duncan 99-03 w/ an injury end of '00, Wade 05-09 but w/ a couple big injuries in the middle, & arguably not as good as Lebron or Kobe in 08-09). Then both stayed effective for years after, especially Duncan who still was the best player on the '05 title team despite not being as dominant.
