It was LeBron. We all know this. Bron almost ruined the career of arguably the best coach in the game right now.
@Matt-cr4vv
@Matt-cr4vv 6 ай бұрын
Spo would’ve gotten another gig if this had happened. The team had declined and got swept in the first round after they won the chip. Then they had the horrible season the year before Spo which was largely injuries. But then both of Spos years before Bron they were a playoff team, and while losing in the first round both years did enough that another squad would’ve been ready to give a young dude who did have an ok couple years a chance. Especially if the firing was because of LeBron because it wouldn’t have been an issue of his performance. But also not saying it’s right but hard to not understand a tiny bit. The entire move to Miami was hinged entirely on winning rings immediately so having a coach with little experience that has to endure the growing pains as they get better is not the ideal selection you’d want for leading things when you’ve made an unpopular move solely to win and to win immediately. Pat made the right call by keeping him in place because we’ve seen that he became a really good cosch and seeing him take two teams to the finals that he has since LeBrons exit has really been impressive for his resume. But I’m not sure it would’ve been a career ender but it would’ve sucked for sure.

Train them with higher discipline ethics. This is why the NBA players are softer these days that they rather create super teams elsewhere in order to boost their legacies by winning titles with talent. This is why rivalries have gone downhill as well as tv ratings and a losing appeal due to making so much money now for the NBA players that they have to donate money to charities.

Spo and Pat Riley are so overrated. The only reason people want to come is because of Wade. No Wade = No LeBron or Jimmy Butler. They could’ve won those rings with any coach.
