I just received a DXCammander Rapade, tuned to 40,20,17,15 and 10 meters. it is absolutely the best portable antenna I’ve owned! Excellent video👍🏽

I have had mine DXC since April. I have concreted a short pole in the ground and fit the DXC over the pole. I have the 20 x.3.5m radials under the turf. The antenna always amazes me, on the stations I can work. Its a pileup buster on 30 and 40m I even use it on 6m.

Nice video. I plan on using one of DX commander antennas soon. I need to tench in conduit here in Texas. The wild hogs like wire. Haha. I am interested in dabbing up a ground plate like you did. Taking the antenna up and down will be easier and if I want to take it portable I will have another ground plate with radials. Before I get the DXC I need to get on the air on HF. I am finally getting my qth setup with wire and entrance panels. Life has distracted me a bit. Thanks again for your video. 73 de KI5HXM

Good luck and enjoy the world of HF. If those hogs give you any problems, just let them know you have gallons of BBQ sauce and not afraid to use it. They might get the idea and leave your cables alone.

So your radials only go out from your side of the fence in your yard - kind of in a semi circle formation, correct?
