Hey Scout75, thank you so very much for the review. I also have a spider beam and like it. I use it for my base antenna, with my, myantenna EFHW 80-10. With that being said, I am also looking for a nice portable mast, for a portable kit I am putting together. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the video Shane. If you were going to run a heavier end fed do you feel both masts are suitable for something in the 2-3 lb range or would you prefer one over the other from a wind load perspective? Thanks!

For a 2+ lb EFHW I’d would go with a more stout mast, like the Spiderbeam. Thank you for watching!
