DX Neo DecaDriver Review & Comparsion to Complete Selection (Kamen Rider Zi-O

Welcome to my review of the DX Neo DecaDriver from Kamen Rider Zi-O.This is the updated Drive used by Decade in the series including all the rider powers/card that occurred after is show. In the review I take a look at the sounds as well as how it works with the Complete Selection releases of the original DecaDrive and Diend Driver.

It's not working because you left a card inside for a long time. happened to my DX once, open it and try cleaning the scanner. it might work again.

I lightly dab up the scanner and carefully readjust the screw above the switch for the scanner and it starts to work for me.

I wish they would have modified the belt straps so that you can display the buckle on its own without one of the straps being screwed on. Aside from that its pretty cool. They updated the Kamen Ride sounds for all the Riders and its DX so its more affordable than CSM.

I'm sad the DX Neo Decadriver doesn't have and didn't come with its specific Attack cards (Blast, Slash, Illusion, Invisible). How much would 4 more sound files and plastic cards have added to its already somewhat extorbitant price?

Yeah that suck but it still fun to play with and it can read 2 different code for the slash card (csm and normal dx code)

It's actually metallic magenta in the show, but I prefer dx magenta

If you don’t mind me asking, why do you pronounce Zi-O as “Ji-O”? Every one of the toys and even the show sounds like it’s saying Zi-O (or at least it does to me), and even if it wasn’t, the romanization is Zi-O, not Ji-O. No English speaking fan calls Build “Birudo” or Ex-Aid “Eguzeido”. I’m sorry if I’m being rude I’m just really confused by all the people who pronounce it “Ji-O” when Toei seems to be trying to make sure that everything says “Zi-O”

Because some toku tubers don't pronounce rider names properly for some reason. For example, in the case of Kamen Rider Accel from W, instead of "Accel" they'll say "Axel".

I guess, but you can kinda defend Accel, since the Memory kinda sounds like it’s saying Axel. But the watches are clearly saying Zi-O, as are the characters in the show. I’m not judging how people pronounce it, it just bugs me when they go out of their way to make sure people know to pronounce it correctly, but people still pronounce it wrong or with engrish for some reason, even if it isn’t pronounced with it

If you're familiar with Japanese then you know that the alphabet goes in an a i u e o pattern Eg Sa Shi Su se so Adding ten tens, the quotation like marks on the characters make this s sound a z sound except for Shi which becomes a ji Thus za Ji Zu ze zo So the romanisation IS Ji o, but the literal English writing for the show is Zi-O This is also a pun o'clock/time for japan is Ji( じ/時) so 3 o'clock would be san Ji (さんじ/3時) And Oh/O is King in Japanese eg Ma-ou being devil king / overlord Zi O, from above, is written in katakana/hirigana as Ji O Literally translated as Time King Which is pun on the basis of the show, Sougo becoming the king of time

Has anyone had a problem with the neo decadriver when you put a card in and then suddenly it reboots? As in makes the turn on notice in the middle of the card reading and forgets you have a card in the driver. I'd like to know if I ever have to fix the switch on it or if theres nothing I can do

@@ADHDListComedian That's just their transformation and Final Attack Ride. There's no form changes or other attacks involved. 8 new sounds isn't enough to compensate for what's not included.

I mean, purchasing the Neo-Diend Driver gives LITERAL final form cards which i assume aren’t in previous versions. Kinda sucks you have to buy the Neo Diend Driver for more new stuff, but still, the difference is there. Granted I’d probably still just get the CSM version since it has the better belt and all the extra CSM stuff, but you shouldn’t just diss this new version... by the way, why WASNT this CSM? Or at least the BELT part?

hey dosmrider, the sounds in the neo deca driver have new sounds for the past nine heisei riders before the neo heisei, with fiaz it says "kamen rider: FIAZ, complete" with the henshin sound. and kamen rider drive, more like kamen rider drrrrrriiiii.
