DX plays Time Ramesside, the worst of the Unreal Engine 4 games we have played thus far from Steam. My God, this was SO BAD.

The best thing is, the game was, supposedly, even worse before. On the Steam page there's that announcement by the author, written in all caps, that basically says "GUYS IT'S A TRUE SURVIVAL HORROR NOW! IT'S FIXED! SOME MINOR GLITCHES BUT WE'LL WORK ON IT! PLEASE, RE-PLAY OUR GAME IT'S COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AND BETTER NOW!"

The game makers were so lazy, in order to make enemies bleed when you shoot them, they just added a blood effect to your gunshots, therefore, everything bleeds even if it doesn't make sense

The bleeding scenery is due to the blood being the bullet impact visual effect. How damn lazy can you be? At least it's consistent with the level of quality welge is known for

Darkness 2 used sprites for some clever stuff. Amid Evil has some crazy real-time sprite lighting system with AO or something. Madness. This garbage... eeeEEEh.

Some character models straight out of Adobe Fuse. FFS, at least try to make the models look good. Especially when you're using that program to create character models. I usually fuck around with with Fuse just to see what sort unique and out of reality character model I could create, but I wouldn't just assemble a body and slap on some clothes and be done with it. I especially wouldn't throw it into Unreal without making it match the game's style and atmosphere. But hey, I'm not a game developer. What do I know, right?
