DX18 to iX 20 Model Transfer Part 1

I had a terrible time doing this simple transfer. I was able to load a 32 gb San Disk micro card into a San Disk adapter and export my Dx 18 files to the micro card. I then loaded the micro card into the IX 20 and it was a done deal . Two days of wondering what I hadn’t done incorrectly ! Maybe the brand name of the disk has more to do with the easy transfer than I realize. Not sure what I did but it worked . Thanks Dave

CAN you transfer from a 1x series to the Nx series

Hey Jeff, Did you ever get to the second part of this model transfer? Also I've been searching for where I saw how to re-name your Aux-5, Aux-6 to what ever you want to see the channel as. I saw it when I first got my iX20, and now I can't find it. I'm working with a wing that has ailerons, "mid-ailerons", tip-ailerons. I want to change Aux-5 to "L-Mid Ail" and Aux-6 to "R-Mid Ail"

I don't think you can IX Series radio files to the NX series radios file format in The IX series ispm and file format in the NX series is SPM but I don't think you can go from ispm to SPM like you can SPM to ixpm. But I may be wrong never have tried that yet
