That and really? Hasbro has been kind of on a roll nowadays. I mean Siege has been really great, Studio Series is also killing it, the Hasbro Pulse service they've opened up has been giving us very good exclusives and they really seem to be putting in as much effort as they can.

@@ryebread117_ They definitely still have their kinks to them but still, the improvement is definitely noted. In particular, I love how Siege and Studio Series have focused on making the toys good on their own again and that they realized that the transformation of a Transformer should be its main gimmick and that if there's something extra? It should be extra like in the case of the C.O.M.B.A.T. system which means accessories become far more fun and the figures themselves aren't hamstrung into what the gimmick of the day is.

@@ryebread117_ For me my start was Megatron who's a Voyager I really, REALLY love and moved onto Shockwave who despite being overpriced for being ultimately a Voyager figure is still incredibly fun to mess with. Definitely better than the previous two lines which really felt like they were oddly regressing in terms of quality. I mean Titans Return decided to force the Headmaster gimmick in with tons of hollow pieces and cheap thin stickers over paint-apps, Power of the Primes felt like you had to get the Leader Class figures to get some value out of the line and Combiner Wars was good until it decided reusing the same mold several times and making multiple regular characters who weren't combiners into combiners without even doing all the major teams was somehow a good idea.

The first EmGo review i ever saw was ROTF Terradive cos it was posted on TFW2005 iirc. Back then Mascot only spoke in annotation speech bubbles. Sadly annotations like that have been completely removed which has ruined a fair few videos like some old Choose Your Own Adventure style vids.

I dont see anyone complaining about Drift having a Japanese accent. He doesnt have an accent on his original incarnation. "La Hire" is a nickname which was given by the British people. According to my search, the full nickname seems to be "La Hire-Dieu" who was translated by the British people as . Although l know it was cut out of the movie along with 30 or more minutes. I wish they would've made his gun transform. It was said that his gun was a mini-bot. And when he says "Stop the Time!" He was giving the bot the command to do so. Thanks to people spoiling sh*t Michael Bay went back and edited the movie a second time because someone leaked the runtime. Anyway, l have this figure and its wonderful. I have some amazing photos on a FB page called "Michael bay transformers lovers" i also put some on Ben's collectables page as well.

I'm obviously not him but I do recommend watching the Hot Fire video by Emgo where he goes into basically how it's a perfect example of looks being deceiving because while car and robot modes look great? The transformation was so overly complex and intricate to the point it was frustrating, way too long and not at all intuitive and the toy did not function in the manner that was intended half the time.

Basically my view. Hot Fire just from the looks department kills it but of course if given the choice between a toy that actually functions and doesn't have a transformation that makes you question your life decisions and one that does? I'd definitely go for the former.
