I have DXO VP3 integrated in DXO PhotoLab5 and use it regularly to correct architectural type images or where the camera was tilted with respect to the subject - trees, people, landscapes, etc. Working from within PhotoLab, I can apply all the corrections to the raw file so no format conversion is necessary and being non-destructive, all corrections are reversible.

I own version 3 . I have just used it ONLY several times, as I can tailor a photo in Ltr to the same extend.

Lightroom is quite good in basic perspektive corrections, but the other tool are missing.

I tried it with high hope for correcting fisheye images and must say that I was rather disappointed. Perhaps I missed something? I couldn't find a way with volume deformation to easily flatten a curve on the horizon without making the whole image rectilinear. Had to inaccurately drag a bunch of control points, which is tedious. There are no choice of projections that I could find, with no hemi-spherical projection option for example. For the relatively high cost DxO is asking for this tool I expected way more. Those who been around long enough would remember that most of what is included in the tool used to be available in their previous main RAW editor (sorry I forgot the old name), which they cut out and now selling separately, which is somewhat greedy as sales tactic goes, hence my high expectations. Oh well, it works for some I suppose, it just didn’t cut it for my needs.

Not sute this i sthe best for fisheye images. PTGui is one that is quite good.

Enjoy your videos. The shape of the tower was “deformed”. It suffered from “deformation”
