As a retailer I would see why you want them to slow down on the newer releases,it because you're not getting enough time to sell older models,I have a DM14 and it's not even a year old as yet and they came out so quickly with the DM15 and now I feel that my DM14 depreciated big time,but I feel that Dye has no choice but to released a newer model DM every year because it's always been like that,I bet right now Dye's rep is probably sitting around a table trying to figure out what new feature they can add to the DM15 to make it a DM16 for next years release,the only thing I see they can do now is add an OLED screen to complete the DM's, c'mon what else can they possibly do lol

I'm here 5 years after you comment and I was thinking "Man this guy totally predicted Dye's ENTIRE game plan." The M3+ has been dye's flagship marker for going on THREE years now. They released that DSR which I think is probably the smartest move they've made as a company to date. That's a great marker.

I agree that they should stop a the 15 because say you got the 14 well once the 15 comes out with minor differences your 14 just lost a lot of value even though the new one may shoot the same. people think that oh its the most new thing so it must be the best one yet.

jared judd Dye has been doing this since the first DM model. They make very few changes to one model for a couple of years, than churn out something completely new. Trust me, it's not killing the value. The DM 13s are still going for $650. It still has a good margin for profit for retailers. And everyone is aware that there is almost no difference between the DM 14 and the DM 15, so no one is saying it's "the most new thing" or "the best one yet".

I don't dislike the new dm but I am a poppit guy, I think a dye poppit gun would be sweat Also I like the new dm every year because It makes older dm'so cheaper

What would you recommend buying? currently i am using an etek 4, but want to upgrade to a dm, and i am not sure which model i should take, either the dm14 or dm15, or even older if you think its better.

Less trigger play and add a magnet, include a .684 barrel back, OLED or at least externally adjustable board. And I agree to stop releasing a new gun every year.

Yearly releases have always been a ridiculous way of making paintball guns. What are these like cars or something? The real alterations are more generational in paintball guns, taking between 3-5 years before you begin to see any real generations that actually matter.
