Dye DM15 Review and Maintenance!

Wow thank you for a great informationAL video. I just bought a used DM15, it's like new but first shot I broke my eye pipe..retarded the barrel down too tight. Thanks for a great video,now I have confidence in maintaining my gun as well as the purchase I made!

+Z-o-o-M-y- Dont need to have the lube caked on. Think of it like ice on a road vs snow on the road. Cant always see ice, its shiny and hard to see, snow is all over and sitting like a pain on the road. Hope that helps -Jake

I just recently received my axe, and have a question. not actually shooting paint just messing with the trigger, when I have the eyes on it seems that it doesn't shoot nearly as fast as when I have the eyes off. any suggestions or answers why?

It has to take a little bit to make sure the ball is there and in place- owner of 3 axes

Im not a pro, but in guessing it's normal. The eyes make sure the ball is in and ready to shoot. With eyes off, the gun will shoot as soon as you pull the trigger.

Listen, I know u guys at team insanity are probably tired of hearing what gun should I get next, but I'm torn. I have a Mini Gs that I love, but I'm ready to upgrade. What would be the next best choice for a new gun? ( I kinda want a dye btw ) So yeah... lemme know

If you want a good mid grade marker get a 2014 proto reflex rail theyre a lot like a dye DM series gun. The UL frame and the proto barrel it comes with is pretty much a dye UL barrel, have one and its great. But some good choices are also the e-tek5, mac dev drone 2, empire axe pro. Or you could go expensive and get a NT11, DM15, 14, or 13.

+LitTorchGaming make yourself very very educated on the gun before buying it. Learn to know what you should expect to possibly go wrong, how to fix it, and how to obviously maintain it. there was a guy at my local field and he had no idea what he was doing. couldn't play the rest of the day because he had a oring leak. the gun itself is reliable as long as you treat it properly

LitTorchGaming the biggest problem you will have is maintaining it but dye makes this very easy....now it will be different from the tippmann....and high end guns you need to clean either before or after you play....and personally i would buy a middle end gun first then upgrade to the DAM you r making a HUGE jump from a entry level gun to a high end

19:45 that awkward moment when you realize that Dye markers and some eclipse markers have solenoids made by the same company, SMC :o Dye must be doing something in the machining for the markers to purge, since as Jake said, they over-engineer the life out of everything.
