Ok, so, does this pressure change with the substrate? ie: a 1/4" thick tile will certainly increase the pressure over an empty press. Or lets say, a foam pad under a poly shirt. Do you set the pressure without the pad and shirt? Or adjust the pressure because of the added thickness?

You would adjust the pressure during the pre-heat step or before turning the press on. Yes, it changes according to the Instructions for each item.

Does G.K. presses make a model where the customer can key in the desired pressure? Then let the heat press do all the rest? Can we use DTG printers to print directly to these types of sublimation products and then use a heating device to bond the inks to the case or what have you? I used to use a Geo Knight heat press and what bothered me the most was the heat. I know that sounds silly. But burning my finger tips on peeling back transfer papers gets old after the first time you do it. Direct-to-garment printers just make more sense to me.

+IraQ Nid ......No, pressure is set with a turning knob. Except for our MaxiPress. Yes, these presses are used to "set" the images for DTG printers.

+Conde Sublimation Is hte MaxiPress the only heating press you sell that can be programmed for different pressures?
